Need to see a replay later, but looked a pen to me and was right in front of me. Beat defender to the ball then was clipped. May have already been stumbling but still looked like he was clipped.Definitely not a pen.
Yeh I don't get it either. Wright says he wants to go through the middle... well sorry mate, you're better on the left. Cope. Why the hell Lampard refuses to play him there I’ll never understand. BTA did OK up front but is beyond useless out wide. If you want to put Wright up front then Brau or another LW should have come on. But it should have just been a like for like.
Agree. VAR gives that. Minimal contact but still made contact without getting any of the ball. 100/100 that goes to VAR and its given.Saw the replay and thought it was 100% pen
The VAR benchmark is so low. See Jota Vs Newcastle.Agree. VAR gives that. Minimal contact but still made contact without getting any of the ball. 100/100 that goes to VAR and its given.

Would agree with BTA being poor with regard to attacking threat.JDS and BTA are pony - hangover from the Robins era. Brau looks promising tbf
Burnley went up playing boring 0-0's last season! If you're going to bore the hell out of the crowd with your football, you need to get the results to justify it.
BTA is fast, Haji is, even Simms is no slouch. The issues are tacticalGood debut from Rushworth and a point was as much as we can take from that - we are crying out for a striker with pace - someone who poses a threat - Charlie Hughes had a good game though if we are still in for him but striker is priority - as much as I like BTA effort I was not enthused with him starting up front
The cut backs were frustrating as the goal was gaping and just waiting for the final touch. Despite all their focus on crosses and headers, I wish FL and his coaches spent time working on finishing cut backs in the 6 yard box. So many teams score goals this way.?Two great chances for Rudoni, hit the bar, two free headers, two great chances for sakamoto, two brliant cut backs with nobody on the end. But wE didn't cReAtE aNyThInG
Thought he made a good run there, was a difficult one to control
On a positive note we kept a clean sheet and that's before we buy Charlie
We aren't good enough to do that.Burnley went up playing boring 0-0's last season!

I think he has that in his game, good runs, but not much else
Be great if he could finish
Sis should have been used as a sub today , can't be doing his confidence any goodBTA is fast, Haji is, even Simms is no slouch. The issues are tactical
Bidwell going balls deep in a Hull sub on the bench would have been comfortably the highlight of the game.Anyway the worst thing about today was the two chavvy women sat behind me who didn’t shut up literally all game about how much they hated Simms and EMC and was Bidwell gay or something for talking to the opposition.
Please god let them not be season ticket holders
Clearly we need a striker, however I thought Torp and Rudoni who are meant to be the creative output in our team we’re so below par today, include in that EMC it’s really not hard to see how we never looked like scoring.
It was definitely worth the ongoing risk to the club's existence.I will say I felt very confident in Rushworth though
TBF it's a legitimate question to Lampard really, why aren't you using a striker the club paid £3m for who scored in a friendly last week? Why didn't you use him in the play off games where we were chasing a goalLorna Bailey loves to shit stir doesn’t she.
