That doesn't make good reading for the government and their choice to not impose any restrictions on people coming into the country. Was bad enough before but if studies are now showing "the UK's coronavirus epidemic was largely initiated by travel from Italy in late February, Spain in early-to-mid-March and then France in mid-to-late-March" then it would suggest if the government had acted early and decisively, similarly to New Zealand, the results could be very different.

The FO advice was pathetic.
Early restrictions and we may all be flying off on our hols soon pub's opening domestic holidays being taken .
Seemed to be trying to protect travel industry then impacting on it now.

We are now allowed a support bubble but Johnson didn't seem to actually know what that means. He also announced drive in cinemas can open, do we even have those?

Sure I also heard him say anyone not following the guidelines was breaking the law.

It's a bit like when someone doesn't understand 'Netflix and Chill'. Can be both incredibly creepy and funny to see.

Can't really say "single people are allowed one fuck buddy' though can they?

Only just 1000 infections which is good. This weekend is 2 weeks on from when everyone started to go out so that will be a test log numbers

That’s good though. The deaths figure isn’t though and probably still means we are at level 4

I'm finding it massively demoralising to be lagging so far behind countries that did a good job.

I can't stand him, if he really thinks that the dumbing down is a Brexit related endeavour then he's not as clever as he thinks.

Good that infections are nearly down to 3 figures after 3 months. I'd hardly say plummeting though, going down a very gentle slope slowly.

The purge of all decent Tories was entirely along Brexit lines. That’s what he means by the dumbing down of the Tory Party. As for why all the brains were on the Remain side, well..

If proof was needed that Brexit has dumbed down the Tory party here’s what Rory Stewart had to say on Coronavirus back in early March.

Former Ofsted chief has argued for teachers to come in and provide extra classes over the summer. He can piss off.
