It has great merit as an idea that everyone can join in, whether you go in the ground or stand on the Hill. First Coventry game at Sixfields this season, on Sky TV, great opportunity to keep Coventry City's situation in the national media.

do no harm whatsoever, fair play.

Ideally, hold the banners up on the 35th min, and at the end of that minute, all walk out to the concourse and not return until the 2nd half.

Let them play 9 mins in front of an empty stadium, that would make the news !

Fine, but I don't think the crowd will be very big for a midweek televised game.

Isn't the camera stand the place where the fans sit? How will anyone see the placards on the TV?

Is that right? What do the cameras face? An empty stand?

Another brilliant idea from the wonderful trust.. No one will see / care / even do it in big numbers... look like a sad joke.
    Sorry waste of time.

I think so - I'm not sure but the stand opposite is much smaller.

Isn't it the other side that is being knocked down?

Got to say, the joint protest is a nice idea regardless of what the impact/turnout is.

Have said for a while we should be highlighting the impact the FA/FL's poor leadership has on all clubs.

Trust is organising a coach to the game - cost will be around £5-£7. Its an opportunity to get the message over to the Football League, SISU, Otium, CCC etc that we have been betrayed and let down and want our club back in Coventry before there is nothing worth bringing back. We want all fans to unite - be those on the hill or those that go into Sixfields - unite by telling those responsible we have been Let Down. Keep hearing from those attending Sixfields that they don't want to be there etc etc - well now is an opportunity to join with other City fans who will be up on the hill and protest. All you have to do is hold up a note for 60 seconds saying "Let Down". Trust members will be outside the ground to hand out the leaflets. We are all Sky Blue supporters so lets unite and send out one powerful message. With Sky in attendance there is an opportunity to get that message nationwide and prove to the world that we love our team and want it back home now.

If you want a seat on the coach email me at [email protected]

It will be interesting to see how many of the 1,000 Coventry fans in the stadium join in with the protest.

This seems a really good idea and those attending Sixfields should absolutely get behind it.

I think it's the inactions of last season that you're all being judged on.

Good to hear that you're behind this though. I personally hope everyone inside joins in.

I was replying to your post where you suggested that you were being pre-judged. How was I not going to use the word "judged" and reply to your post? Have a word with yourself mate ;)

Idea is good, just a shame we cannot and wont take thousands and make this loud and clear infront of the cameras, instead it will be 70 on the hill, and around 90-120 inside who take part... and no one will give a flying fook who doesnt support coventry watching the game.

Good the trust organizing a coach though, but sorry, this will not get the desired effect unless thousands turned up, and stood outside protesting.

Actually there's no stand opposite the cameras right now. They've demolished it to build a bigger one...maybe an opportunity for the Hillers to watch the game from there and be seen on TV more?

We could see 75% of the pitch before the stand came down so maybe we can stand directly opposite the main stand now.
Next Wednesday will be a bit of fun! regardless of numbers .

Games are filmed from the West, facing the east.

So TV cameras will face the non existent stand, the side of the athletics bit.

Yes. I'm not sure how near you can get as it's all a building site down that side. But if you can get there you should. Directly opposite the cameras and you could see both goals which would be a novelty! Good luck.

Everyone should get on the hill in my opinion, but sadly it will be the core of us up there.

As Cardiff's Trust is definitely up for supporting us next Wednesday, let's at least show that we haven't given up the fight and can make a united stand with them and .. more importantly .. amongst ourselves.

For those who say it is futile, I say that I would rather make a futile gesture of defiance than meekly do nothing. If collectively we can't be bothered to make our voices heard when we have this opportunity to let the wider football world know that we feel 'LET DOWN', then 'LET DOWN' is what we most certainly will continue to be.

So please, whether it be in the Ground or on the Hill: 'Let's all sing together ... and ... fight 'til the game is won'.

So you are telling us that Sky are just going to have one camera at back of main stand for a live game?
They will have one on both sides and on each goal, also if any chance of a bit of a protest probably one that can film the hill.

They wont film the hill, they will just give a brief 20 second showing pre match of the fans on the hill and talk about it for all of 2 minutes.
