Incredible performance today, tactically so much better, really impressed with everything Robins done today both how we set up and the substitutions during it.

Massive confidence boost for the lads!

What a great (and for me unexpected) result! That's a decent number of points, so far, from this block of games. I got in from shopping just before half time and was surprised to see the score. Maybe I'll have to log on late on game day for the rest of the season.

Actually I’m not I think and always have we will just about scrape through - I also said when we signed him walker was about the only statement of intent we’ve shown for years along with o hare who I’ve consistently said is by miles our best and most important player
Kelly is our most important player

And don’t forget this little pearl: ‘Any normal club would’ve sacked their manager’

Walker is a box striker like Godden but at a better level

O Hare will get offers in the summer He’s miles above the rest of the squad

Ohare is a very good player but still learning, some decision making and final ball/finishing needs improvement

But you’ve also got to admit, Max is a useful squad player/foil for Godden/Walker. Walker on his own up front looks lost, stick a partner next to him and he’s far more lively. Hopefully Robins has learnt that (although to be fair not had many opportunities to form partnerships this season)

Cantwell is an absolute class act. Some of the comments about him on here midweek were embarrassing.
Norwich should be ahead. Giles looking decent going forward but defensively he's very suspect.

I thought the Sky coverage was pretty fair to be honest, gave City a lot of credit. A few posts before the match about Tyler Walker being unable to score, and being a lazy c. Well, he needs still to prove that he’s a consistent Championship goalscorer, but in terms of his work rate, he more than played his part in a tremendous pressing performance by Cov. I think he looks a bit sulky, languid, but he put a shift in today, as they all did. Cov players, they’re hammered if they don’t smile, and hammered if they do!😁

Well done to Robins and Viveash today. Picked the right team, played the right tactics, had the team fired up, made the right substitutions at the right time. Playing two up top really helped the high press, which was executed perfectly. Brentford just never got going, guessed we played them at the right time, but we certainly took full advantage. Happy Saturday!!

He’s on a total different level to most other players in this league. Such a classy player and wouldn’t look out of place in a lot of prem teams.

Keep fresh players to help press them high. Don’t often say it but Robins used the bench really well today

Agree was the best I've noticed him using it in a long long time.

Biamou played huge part in both goals. Wonder why went off so early?

Baka poor when ckme on Unforuntley. A goal from him would have been cherry on top lol
I think ohare beating two men to set Baka up in the box who then needed three touches beforegetting his shot off shows he is playing two leagues above his ability Im afraid

I missed the early start too. Luckily I was awake early and checked the game thread 20 mins in. Missed the pen and hesgoal.com missed the second

Walker has 5 goals, he's only started 11 games, not bad really.
