MVE got pelters for the back pass in the play offs - that was a mistake from a bloke who is of much better stock. Brau just doesn't look the part. He's a mistake waiting to happen. I never really criticise players, they are much better than me, but I can see why many on here want a new LB despite having 3 who could play that position behind JDS.
He didn’t get pesters. Still doesn’t, even though he was at fault for both Ipswich goals. Wright got all the shit for playing whilst obviously injured.

He needs to go out on loan in January to play games. He's got another 3 years left on his contract. I remember saying we shouldn't sign him in the summer, that's it's a massive difference from second div Spanish league to the Championship, yet a lot on here slating him are the same ones saying we needed to sign him in the summer.

Suppose we had to give him a go. He is more natural wing back than Bidwell.

Will be the last we see of him just not at this level.

Think hes going to be 4th choice with KKH 2nd choice left wing back..if we play this system again.

Brau not totally at fault for the goal though today .. for starters why was he left alone 1v1 in that moment ? Its like a written rule isnt it

He got outmuscled and that was his mistake

Dacosta always had that half against Forest…Brau will always have that half at Southampton.
It was basically one run where he beat a couple of players. As a result of that people said he deserved a start.
Much like Raphael against Luton back in August.

We did the same against Ipswich for a corner but we left MVE back, if we’d of done the same today they don’t score, and we probably win it, fine margins

I think Brau has looked shaky defensively but is better when he is further upfield. I don't currently see him as a regular starter at LB. He may have some part to play as a more defensive minded LW, playing in front of JDS, if we need to bring EMC off to rest him or if he is injured.

Of course, he may not be needed even in this secondary role if we succeed in getting better cover for EMC in this window.

People will literally never fucking learn to give people time to adapt will they ffs

Especially young players coming from abroad. Remember when Torp was a waste of 2m, too weak, too slow and completely out of his depth in this league?

I assume everyone slagging him off here is confident they would be performing at 100% in their job within 6 months if they moved to Spain?

This is true to an extent. And I would like to think Brau will get better, but I just don't see it in him. Torp on the other hand did take a while, but I saw he had it in him immediately (I know some on here didn't). DaSilva was another one heavily criticised, then this season he has been really good and made the LWB his own.
