Wales playing in Romania tonight, JDS on bench but Kai Andrews starts
There is something about Kai Andrews. He has a nice style in the way he receives and carries the ball. I think he lacks belief in his ability as he often takes the safe option, when he could instead drive with the ball more. It would be good for him to be loaned out if he could get regular minutes at Championship level, but I would be disappointed if he left permanently as I think he has a bright future.Thinking ahead there must be every chance that Andrew's next move (loan or permanent) will be to one of the Welsh sides, where his reputation will be highest. I would guess Cardiff would be the most likely.

Absolutely changed the game since he came on, great assist too. I imagine he’ll start against England.
I totally agree , two excellent intricate passes that should have led to two not just one goal. Yes with the late goal chance he had he could have hit it harder.Jobi Mcanuff and Emma Hayes are proper bigging up BTA now on ITV. Love it
Yep could really have had 2 assists and a goal!
1s assist was a good run and perfect cut back, decent challenge on Ayew but someone sharper would have got there first.
Probably should have tested the keeper more with the offside effort.
2nd assist was perfection, drifted into space, rode the lunge, powers up field and then so calm and precise with the pass. Excellent work

I remember watching him at Salford City a fe years back and he stood out.
I watched this in a Melbourne cafe/restaurant. Wonder what they thought of my muffled 'Come on Brandon' cries. I wasnt loud as it was 10am but had to clap and cheer when he set up the winner.
I was at the front of the North stand after Wrexham game and he was so nice with everyone. He has a lot of skill and much more than City fans give him credit for. Just needs the belief and this can only help on that. BTW, Ellis you can do it too!
Good luck against England , Croatia and maybe others Brandon but dont get injured.
I too am currently in Melbourne. I move out from the city to Mordialloc tomorrow until the end of the month. When we were here in November 24 we saw a chap walking down Chapel Street wearing a City shirt, could it have been you?Where abouts in Melbourne are you?

Fair fucking play. BTA take a bow, I'd not have predicted him having the season he had and then going on to light up the World cup.
You always come across so miserable and joyless. Have a break'Lighting up the World Cup' is way too OTT geez
Impact subIn terms of the negativity regarding BTA’s ability to play Premiership football:
I think some people will be eating their words.
It’s his time. WBA fans weren’t exactly keen to hang on to him were they? However, he kicked on, players couldn’t handle him last season. There’s a chance he’ll need to adjust to this league but equally the defenders of other teams need to get the measure of him. He, Tats, EMC will all get some protection from VAR etc.

I’d be more worried about Asante and some of his bad discipline. Has the potential to be good next season but needs to cut out some of the late fouls/elbows as VAR will send him offIn terms of the negativity regarding BTA’s ability to play Premiership football:

Statistics are the problem here. They totally outplayed Ghana until BTA came on for them. Then BTA ripped them apart. On another note, how the fuck are Panama so high in the rankings (34th?)

He has as much chance of stepping up as some of our other crowd favourites.Statistics are the problem here. They totally outplayed Ghana until BTA came on for them. Then BTA ripped them apart.
Does this make BTA one of the best players in the world?
That's the problem with signing players after having a good World Cup. We already have one of the better players in the World Cup so far, yet the majority of us seem to think he isn't good enough for next season.
Absolutely spot on.He has as much chance of stepping up as some of our other crowd favourites.
There is a core group of about 15-17 that are a good starting point to build towards the 25 man squad.
If the right offers come in we might wheel and deal on a few. But I think most of our core 15 from last season will be at the club when the season kicks off.
How is VAR an additional benefit? Almost by definition, VAR decisions are equally likely to go for us or against us.We can score from all over the pitch and have the additional benefit of VAR.
He's probably thinking about all the penalties we should have had, but that doesn't translate at all into next season. How is VAR an additional benefit? Almost by definition, VAR decisions are equally likely to go for us or against us.
The notion that a team goes through a season of 40-odd games and suffers a big imbalance in decisions for & against is only in the heads of supporters. He's probably thinking about all the penalties we should have had, but that doesn't translate at all into next season.
To a point. It's possible to go through a season where more goes against than for, and vice versa, too. Generally you'd expect both good and bad fortune in a season roughly equally, but there's no real reason why there should be.The notion that a team goes through a season of 40-odd games and suffers a big imbalance in decisions for & against is only in the heads of supporters.
