Bloody cancer!

How are you feeling today @Joe King ?
Had a 2nd heart attack at 2am. First I knew about it was waking up surrounded by 12 nursing staff and a doctor telling me they'd just jolted my with a defibrillator. Just had a chest x-ray to check the fluid on my lungs.

Time to fight Houch.
L1 to prem, it can be done.
Keep going and 3 points every day.
Remember you’re Coventry not Leicester.

Sorry to hear that - my thoughts are with you.

I saw this today. You have to say, what a fantastic attitude from Lucy. A reminder to all to also to get checked if something feels off.

Joe, hope you are feeling better!

How you doing Houch? You still testing the doctors and nurses every night with further complications?
Hope you’re stable and settled and they’re sorting you out
Waiting to leaving hospital as I type. (11am Thurs). Gotta have follow up appointments re my heart, but now they think it my NOT be cancer! Bloody hope they're right!
Much love, Baz

Fingers crossed for you, mate.

Keep fighting Baz.

Btw if you need a pacemaker, I'm your man as I reckon you're about the one bloke on the forum that I could currently keep up with.

All the best Baz, what a couple rollercoaster weeks youve had.

Glad you're able to go home, Houch.

And hope you have really good news to come. Fingers crossed. 🤞🏻

Bugger! Had it confirmed. It IS a small cancer growth. They're sending me to the QE in Brum in a couple of weeks to hopefully sort it out. Getting really peed off with this now! 😡

From a diagnosis perspective that’s shocking treatment

My brother had to have a colonoscopy, CT scan as well as other tests for an iron deficiency and when he got the results for his iron deficiency his GP told him that there was a 4 week wait for colonoscopy results, he got his results after about 2 1/2 weeks.

Sending positive thoughts, as others have said. Glad you're getting to go home. More than annoying to keep getting misinformation. Let's hope they sort you out.

I’m sorry that they raised your hopes, only to have them dashed again.

On a more positive note, the fact that it is small hopefully means it has been caught early and a delay of a couple of weeks is pretty quick.

🤞

🙏

I had a colonoscopy at the Norfolk and Norwich hospital last Friday morning and got the polyps biopsy result this Monday afternoon. Benign...
How there is such a wide disparity in test timing, is beyond me.
Sincerely hope the small tumour can be effectively dealt with JK and you can get back to normal life ASAP.

Wow that may be good or at least better news! Remain positive. 👍

Absolutely is sounds like they've got it early before it's got a chance of mastecising.
Hopefully anyway.positive.

My Wife has had her pathology report back after her Cancer surgery and it was/is Stage 3 clear cell cancer.
She has been offered Immunotherapy at the Arden centre at UHCW (she has agreed to have it)... will be approx 18 sessions over the next 12 months.
Hopefully it will work and zap any remaining cancer cells.
