Reassuring to have a better manager, because they’re going to be in the Championship again next year.

That wasn't the point you initially made.. they are in with a chance still of the playoffs with 4 games to go

A lot of unrest behind the scenes though. He was unhappy about having others involved in transfers & recruitment etc. He wasn't prepared to move with the times.

Isn’t that down to the appointment of Kieran Scott (from Norwich) as “head of football”? If taking accountability away from the manager is moving with the times, Warnock is better off out of it. They’ll turn on Wilder as soon as he struggles.

Don’t be coy. He has without spending any money a 20 goal plus striker in Matty Godden - that’s a huge advantage if he keeps him fit

What will tomorrow’s argument be? Before inevitably turning into something against Matt Godden?

Yeah but it's a case of realising it's physically impossible for one person to oversee everything like they may have previously. If you don't have a manager that buys into modern methods including technical scouting & finding undervalued talent etc. you're only going to fall behind what every other club is doing. As with every job in life, employ an expert & let them do their thing rather than get stuck in the past & falling behind rivals because "We've always done it this way".
The manager can still have the final say if you're all pulling in the same direction as Robins does with us.

Wilder knows exactly what he's doing & is a big advocate of modern methods, he brought the likes of SciSports in at Sheffield United. Ironically, he's being linked with Burnley now & seems that Kieran Scott would go with him if so.

He’s turning it around, 2-0 up at Preston after 20 minutes.

Well maybe not literally
I'd love to see Mowbray have success
He's one of the most decent men in football
It didn't work out for him here but he walked away without wanting a pay off, saying the club should spend whatever they saved on the team

If Brereton-Diaz hadn't got injured/kept travelling to Chile, I think they would have got into the top 6 comfortably. If they do sneak in, I fancy them to win the play offs, as I think Forest losing Grabban/Davies may do for them.

Think they'll be going for Sean dyce as a replacement there, local to the area and knows about the division. Unless Everton go for him when they get relegated.

Regardless of any views on the job he's done (I think good all things considered), it's a pretty shoddy way to treat somebody.

My thoughts exactly. Especially when you take into consideration how long he's been there.
