Actually it’s more rain again now. Very wet too, so even if it snows it might take a while to settle...

Could be off due to waterlogged pitch - it very wet Wednesday and it’s been raining most of the night - ideal for a kasta event

Hopefully the pitch drainage works and under soil heating has been on.

but will effect our passing game. Then again we wonon Tranmeres potato patch

We won sometimes on the dunes where the knuckle draggers stole our ground

Yeah, the forecast I’m looking at says heavy snow starting about now and lasting all morning as well - although at the moment it doesn’t look at all snowy so who knows. Definitely wet.

Square passes among the defence...........gulp. If it goes ahead, I would definitely play 2 up front, as defenders are more likely to make mistakes, and keep the tippy tappy down to a minimum. Good day for O'Hare closing down defenders, but can you imagine the state of his kit at full time

Birmingham are 2/1 to win on bet365. That's crazy.

Which means we have to go with 2 up top...have to start Max and Gykores. Wilson has to go downtown.

Tricky little players like Ohare may have a field day picking up the pieces.

Might be down to the fact that they've lost 6 on the trot at home, and we've lost only once in 35 games at The Trillion (when keeping 11 on the pitch - (Blackburn, Bournemouth being those blips)

Agree - just hope we don't get one of those refs who 'makes allowances' for thuggery, due to the pitch conditions - letting the likes of Friend & co to kick lumps out of Callum O'Hare etc,
Good day for winning / not conceding free kicks on the edge of the box

If they don't get promoted this season or next, they are likely to 'shrink' in terms of status quite markedly.

Theo fork at St Andrews is shocking whereas ours is really good. Hopefully that carries on.

Depends what condition the grounds in at St Andrews. On the roads it’s not sticking here, but on the grass it is.

Why is the pitch so bad I wonder?

It was great last year, and we had shit loads of rain last year too.

Is it just because more games are being crammed into a shorter season?

Of the 4 games played on Wednesday, Dave Prutton of Sky only got 1 right, forecasting away win for Sheff W. and home wins for Middlesboro and Swansea.

Did my usual of putting £10 on a Birmingham win or draw. This isn't me being pessimistic, its just me trying to give myself a good feeling if we lose haha I think we will win 2-0 myself.

I usually hate last ditch postponed games but wouldn’t lose sleep if this was off pushes a crucial fixture back two or three weeks giving a bit more time for some of our walking wounded to get fit.

Normally snow on the day isn’t an issue only if it’s been sitting for a day or so and has frozen the pitch. If they had any forethought and out the heating on it’ll go ahead.

Just watching Big Match Revisited and Arsenal pitch is a feckin quagmire like lots of others in 1975. Which others were bad? I remember Filbert St and Derby were like beaches
