Loan fees/wages are paid by Club that owns the player.....Very rare are there any "Signing on fees".... and finally you obviously haven't read my post #221..... What we spend money on:
It hasn't all gone into SISU's back pocket.
- Player transfers
- Players need to get paid
- Agent fees
- Signing-on fees
- Loan fees
- General running costs of the football club

Walcott was sold after 21 appearances in the Championship
Bale made 40 appearances in the Championship
The only player who they sold whilst in league 1 was Oxlade Chamberlain after 36 appearances
