Riis had scored 3 goals against us before we signed Bassette…Hindsight - at the time we signed Bassette,I don't think I'd heard of Riis

Ding, ding, your ITK points are stacking up nicely. Not sure if true but a fairly reliable source closeish to club, said Bassette and Binks had a bust up on training ground.
No I'll never be an ITK. Just a fella who got chatting on train from London Bridge to Milwall recently. Think he was an accountant on board in past, who tried to buy club and sure plenty on here know of him. Mr Byng was his name I believe.Ding, ding, your ITK points are stacking up nicely.![]()
Absolutely mad our fans. This fella if gets his head down had the potential to do anything.Just 20 years old , played under 600 minutes for city .
Plays for Belgium u21s where hes scored 3 in 5 games and already has a senior belgium app to his name
His whole football career is ahead of him still , crazy to write him off
Doesn't the player still have a choice? If they exercise option but he says no I want another crack at cov then he staysUnfortunately the fact they have a buy option means his future is done here. No doubt he has potential but something has happened and Frank wants him out of the club.
Anything except stay onside maybeAbsolutely mad our fans. This fella if gets his head down had the potential to do anything.
if he does well and is loved there i’d expect him to want to move. especially if they get promotedDoesn't the player still have a choice? If they exercise option but he says no I want another crack at cov then he stays
I highly doubt he will want to play here as long as FL is in charge.Doesn't the player still have a choice? If they exercise option but he says no I want another crack at cov then he stays
Things change very quickly in football. A year is a very long time.I highly doubt he will want to play here as long as FL is in charge.
Be interesting of he scores 20 plus goals and gets off the mark in international football.Yes, option to buy is the key. Means we are happy for him to go. He had something about him. Wouldn’t be at all surprised if he did well in time. But I don’t think it will be with us.
Of course, though giving the option to buy has taken it out of our hands.Things change very quickly in football. A year is a very long time.
A QS from the rail industry, knows lots about Chinese companies involved in engineering /construction.No I'll never be an ITK. I would say miraculousBe interesting of he scores 20 plus goals and gets off the mark in international football.
How does it work? Does this mean a fee has already been agreed?Of course, though giving the option to buy has taken it out of our hands.
I don't think there is any standard, could mean almost anything. How does it work? Does this mean a fee has already been agreed?
Not an option though,so you'd think a ballpark figure had been sorted?I don't think there is any standard, could mean almost anything.

I think that's the problem, people want him to be the next Gyokeres, he's not that player, he's more of a Jamie Vardy.Move on from Bassette ffs - he scores in an U-21 game & people think he's gonna be the next Gyokeres - he just looked as raw as fuck for us everytime he played
I couldn't give a shit if he goes
We won’t have much use for any player that Reims would pass up the chance to sign. It's an option not an obligation. The option price will probably be set now. If they don't meet that, he'll be back with us surely.

Yep then probably back out on loan again if a fee can't be agreed elsewhere. It's an option not an obligation. The option price will probably be set now. If they don't meet that, he'll be back with us surely.
We supposedly have an option to recall in Jan, which would trump all other clauses, I suppose. Their option might be no more than first dibs we just don't know. The club made nothing of either of these terms in its statement it was all at the other end.How does it work? Does this mean a fee has already been agreed?
Some players you just know from almost the first kick don't have the brains for top level football. And it is about brains - positional awareness, sense of how the game was flowing - Ryan Howley was one of these. Perfectly good on the ball but never quite in the right place at the right time.Just 20 years old , played under 600 minutes for city .

I think he's probably pretty desperate to leave.Doesn't the player still have a choice? If they exercise option but he says no I want another crack at cov then he stays
He was Lampard's first choice striker to begin with. He started him in 7 of his first 9 games in charge, much to the detriment of the team. Once he finally got dropped, this coincided with our great run of form. He actually gave him too many chances.Said the same, don‘t think he ever really got much of a chance but obviously there was a reason for that, liked him, had that bit of a shithouse about him, simms could do with a bit of it, hope he has a good loan and comes back a better player
20 year old kid leading the line, and judged him on 7 games, hope he has a great season on loan, proves us all wrong and comes back a totally different player, not saying he’ll be anywhere as close but Brighton fans were quick to write of gykores and so were we, turned out not badHe was Lampard's first choice striker to begin with. Loads are writing him off , just read the threadAre people writing him off?
Personally I think he has something about him and might turn into a good player but at the same time if he has attitude issues and Lampard isn’t a fan I’m perfectly happy to see him gone.
