Window not shut, how do you know they have not been trying and couldn't get deals over line for various reason? Yes if window shuts now, we are short, but it hasn't.

Like most of us I would like to see us doing more deals (in and out) before the window closes but I'm happy with what we have done so far. He won't get everything right but I reckon DK is pretty astute.

Good business sense to not let players walk away for free.

Am sure you talking about Allen and Bidwell who have massively contributed (and still are) to this club.

Costs money to replace and also sure they weighed up options of giving new contracts versus new recruits (sign on fees, agents money etc).

Only got to look at Palmer and Binks to see that clubs will still pay money for our ‘deadwood’.

Also great that we have only rumours and that the real transfer business is done behind closed doors.

We don’t know what’s going on and who’s bid for who and for what money.

What we do know is that Rudi and MVE are still here and that can only be a good thing.

MVE still here - do you know what deals have been put forward? I certainly don’t. A report saying we’d been offered £6-7 mill for him and we turned it down. Do you really think that is Doug fucking up the window? Is that all you think MVE is worth?

I'd either be doing a straight sale or loan only. Not sure an option benefits us

You've got a team playing in the Europa League and top 6 of the Eredevisie interested in him. If he has a good season, what would he be worth? Regardless of attitude/how he's performed for us, you either loan him with a high option/obligation or you loan him without the option and look at selling him to someone else next summer
