Still don't understand why the FL are getting so much grief for allowing the club to move out of Coventry though?

Basically you're saying that whatever people charge for the rent, whoever the owners are, ACL, Sisu,Otium, PH1V, that as it's the only suitable ground for League Football in Coventry that you'd have to take it even if it was £10million?

It's why clubs and grounds should always be indivisable.

Except the amount being offered was far, far less than £10m and wouldn't have been a permanent arrangement. Also, high rent wasn't the real reason we left the Ricoh, and all of us here know that.

“The Football League Family Excellence Award gives clubs a standard to aspire to when planning their efforts to attract more families and young fans to their matches.

As they do on any post that blasts our excuse of owners. The facts are Andy Turner speaks for the majority and we know it. That award is nothing but a joke and a kick in the face for majority of fans. I wonder how they will aspire to grab the award again next season with even less fans.

Again, I apologise as I thought it was about matchday experiences. Where as if they asked people on the beach, they would all be raging.

Is the match day experience award winning in your view? Considering that even Pressley and the players have come out and said it's an 'awkward' place to play football, that can't mean it's all that enjoyable.

To be honest, I haven't gone as a family and from what I have seen I wouldn't say it was up to much.

Because it's ridiculous that the criteria can't take things like our situation into account, it's like winning a clean beach award because you tick the box for low litter, no sewage and crystal clear water oh but the local power plant pumps radioactive water out onto the beach, no matter.

ccfc might have ticked the football league boxes but the simple fact of the matter is we are the worst club in England to support this year for families, a few familys might be happy but 90% of them arn't so it's a complete utter farce to award them for it.

Totally agree, that was literally the only good thing that kids might like at sixfields and was scraping the barrel but somebody like torch might have a different view as he takes his lad.

The football league had no option? they have broken their rules multiple times this season in regard to us already. It doesn't seem like they have no discretion to me. Any award that involves ticking a few boxes and with no ability for discretion when something no in a tick box goes massively against the entire spirt of the award is not fit for purpose.

Of course you are right that really its no big deal, its not done us any harm, it's just the football league pissing on us while we are down, it shows how incompetent they are and gives even less hope for a happy solution.

Funny as an adult maybe, but not for kids. My son sleeps with City programmes under his pillow he is that obsessed by the clubs and players. For him Baker, Wilson, Fleck, etc are his heroes. And that's fine by me.

And Nick is right although the stadium obviously isn't as imposing, etc the experience for kids (at least for mine) is good as they can get right close to the pitch.
