Was speaking to my Forest supporting brother earlier & he said Toffolo's a top bloke off the pitch too with his mental health work & the way he is in the dressing room & that there's just no way he's gonna figure in the Prem but would be good in the Championship

I think the MH work has come about since his suspended sentence for being found guilty of 375 betting offences including 15 instances where he bet on his own side to lose. His defence arrested on his own poor mental health at the time of the bets.

IIRC the suspension was due to run out at the end of the season just finished. He was fortunate to have a career left after being found guilty of so many offences. A 5 month ban on suspended sentence was much more lenient than the punishment handed out to Ivan Toney.

Not like we do on here then ?

I just see him as a player who's played in two playoff finals for two different teams and was Preston's player of the year in 22/23

Just seen Man Utd are linked with him
He's not going to United to be first choice mate. He will be 4th choice, or 3rd choice at a push.

Woodman is absolute pony

Really? So you think he’d be a downgrade on Collins, Wilson and an out of action Dovin?

He’s always played well against us. Even when he made a massive error for our second goal at the CBS this season he pulled off three great saves in the second half.

We need an upgrade on our current options and I’d like a keeper who can be first choice until (and it could be a very long wait) Dovin is back in contention. I really don’t think a young keeper on loan from a prem club (like Beadle from Brighton for instance) is a good option for what we need (stability and confidence).

From what I’ve seen, I rate Woodman higher than Angus Gunn say but I’d be open to other options.

Collins won’t be starting the season I’d imagine Wilson will.

A lot hinges on Dovin's recovery time. If he's not back until the early part of the new year I would've thought the club will definitely look to bring someone in.

If he's back much earlier than expected, which has been indicated by Saddle, then FL might feel inclined to just make do with what we have.

To be fair I wouldn't mind Riis, but as a backup rather than a starter week in, week out. But pretty sure he would want to play every week
Can also play Right Wing so would be good to have as versatility and would probably start him over Tats away as he’s a bit more physical and quite a lot bigger so could be helpful against anti-football
