Which I think is kind of what Doug has alluded to. Instead of paying endless rent, were now paying that rent money to a bank on a mortgage. For how much and for how long who knows, but its certainly better than paying rent to insects/the council/blues/frasers group!

I really don’t understand why people think we can’t possibly sign better than what we have either. Grimes Torp and EMC were all January signings and current first teamers.

We need two attacking players good enough to start games. Esse ticks that box. If there's two of that calibre (e.g. Esse + 1) I'd be happy, loans or perms.

Both would be optimistic but seeing as we’ve also been linked to Liel Abada as well, it leads me to think we’re possibly after 2 wingers. To recap that’s Esse, Rak-Sakyi and Abada as well as Manneh before the window opened.

It makes sense, we play 4-2-3-1 with only 2 wingers in the squad. Sky reported we were looking at a winger, CM and LB.

It took Torp and EMC more than a year to settle in and become steady contributors, but people think we’d have no problem integrating five new signings into the team with only 20 games left in the season.
