£15 million for Rudoni ??? (2 Viewers)

Speaking to my Brighton fan mate the other day. He said if we're following their model , get used to losing your best players when you least want them to go. Something we need to get used to I guess, because I feel that's the route Doug will want to follow.
Yeah, as a Brighton supporter he must be absolutely hating life atm.

Rudoni looks a far better player in Prem.
I didn't see his current level in champs.
He played last season with his shoulder strapped. He played the season before in pain and with his shoulder popping out when pressure got to the joint. He was playing well before the injury.

What we also have to remember is that Rudoni started late this season because of his operation. He will only now be starting to get to match fitness. There's more to come. All the frustrations from the last couple of years are over and Rudoni has time to make up.

Valuations? Depends on if we stay up or not. Still can't see any reason why we would get relegated. We have goals all over the pitch so not reliant on just a couple of players. If we stay up the valuations are higher. If Rudoni continues like this his value will fly.

Look at all the names around him. Nearly all are valued very highly. 10 goals plus from midfield is very good, especially from a player promoted from the Championship. They will be watching him closely. First time he has been fully fit for a couple of years, and no injury to worry about for the future in any way, and he is getting rave reviews. Creates havoc and a dead ball specialist. Worth a few quid. A bidding war would mean we're on our way to doing a Brighton.

We need to get as good as Brighton in finding players too then!

If we stay up, and assuming Rudi keeps on his trajectory, then surely the absolute bare minimum we should accept is £50m, more like 70 imo. £50m is 'just' two-ish of our bigger summer recruits this year, none of whom are a shoe-in yet. I'd want three of them for a Rudi.

steady on lads, he’s had a very good start to the season but the 3 goals in 4 games is from a pen, a deflection and one off his shoulder against spurs.

on the BBC article I've just posted there is a quote saying:

One Premier League manager has privately said if he were to take any players from Coventry, one of them would be Jack Rudoni.

50 mill would be massive for the club to keep it's progress. I don't think it's out of reach if he keeps performing at the level. Even bang average prem players move for 20m+ these days.

If he scores 10 goals this season we’d be able to fetch £35m minimum even if we go down I imagine.

Ayari is strangely one of the best players in that position currently and wouldn’t have taken him for free a few years back

My mate still saying he's lightweight but wouldn't drop him from the side. Think he's proving everyone wrong . I wouldn't of touched him with a barge pole after his stint for us.

He carries on with the form he shown the club will be putting 50mill on his head and will try to get him tied down on a new contract.

If somebody offered that for him he'd be gone, and rightly so really. The key thing is that we need to have a succession plan in action as of now, not sure if we have.
