I think Lampard has a lot of affinity to the team that got him up and he has stuck by a few he probably shouldnt have.

We haven't spent wisely at all, we have overpaid for some average players.

They are completely different players. Hamer hasn't played the deep play making role for nearly 3.5 years.

That should be the team for Forest. Play the players we’ve paid very good money for. Not massively keen on Grimes atm but not keen on our alternatives either tbh.

Also feel harsh on Dasilva but away from home, Mfuni could be a better option. Who knows.

Play 5 at the back when we’ve got Liverpool, Man City, Arsenal when it’s properly backs against the wall…but not when we need some goals.

Not sure they’ve decided that. Overly committed to who got us here. That time is up. I’ll take some convincing Tchouana isn’t a better RW than Rudoni and that Yirenkyi couldnt impact more than Grimes. Cherif - couldn’t say but clearly has shown something and wouldn’t need to be Haaland to be a step up on Awoniyi. Genuinely no idea why weve signed Hamer though.

Lampard was backed plenty in reality so with respect the neutrals are completely clueless.

It was a strange window.

Nothing in May or June when we could have cleared some players out or at least got some deals started. We knew we were up in April basically.

Then we had the world cup and the reasoning that we couldnt sign anyone. Then we had an odd week off in the middle of pre season

Then start of August we still had all our deadwood. Just completely bizarre.

Most people/neutrals I know think that Hull have been extremely lucky this season, yet on here they’re one of the greatest PL sides ever seen.

They’re average at best. They have McBurnie which is a big differentiator from us. But we’ll not finish far apart
