I doubt if the rest of the season is going to get any better. After 25 years out of the PL the gap is too big for us .

It starts with what's on the pitch. The fans were behind the team, very loud at the start. Ground emptied on about 75-80 minutes.

Early signs are that we didn’t have a good enough summer. A lot of money spent on expensive punts who seemingly aren’t ready. Understand there is a limitation on the ‘experience’ we can bring in but our two ready made Prem signings in Awoniyi and Pinnock barely played last season.

The five at the back has to go. We will concede with it because it makes our midfield light. Lampard has to make the decision to take Grimes out. Hasn’t got the legs and doesnt impact enough. Midfield three has to be Onyeka Yirenkyi and Rudoni with Tchouana on the right. CF now an issue l but hopefully Gboho can give us something on the left
