More false Coventry council claims exposed over Ricoh Wasps deal-Les Reid

Based off these articles and the Coventry Observer article it appears that Les Reid of Nov-2013 is saying something different to the comments made by Les Reid of Jan-2015. Maybe Les Reid should attack Les Reid for misleading reports.

More false Coventry council claims exposed over Ricoh Wasps deal-Les Reid

By the sounds of the letter that would be a restriction which Joy would have opposed, the letter clearly states "clean restriction-free" leasehold.

More false Coventry council claims exposed over Ricoh Wasps deal-Les Reid

This appears to be an anti-Lucas standpoint based upon one piece of evidence which is being interpreted in a way to support the viewpooint. The key phrase is: The letter states: "In any scenario we need a freehold or clean restriction-free long lease." What is a "clean restriction-free long...

    Hedge Funds

Very successful. The more ruthless ones can even break countries, for example http://dealbook.nytimes.com/2014/07/30/in-hedge-fund-argentina-finds-relentless-foe/?_php=true&_type=blogs&_r=0 Not sure of the point of this thread and it is not football related, unless it is another attempt at a...

    Whatever happened to Les Reid

But why was he sent on gardening leave? Was the departure related to SISU/CCFC or some other reason? I believe he also turned up in court during the JR. What is he doing now?

    Whatever happened to Les Reid

Les Reid seemed to suddenly disappear from the Telegraph and I don't think it was ever explained (or did I miss it?) So my question is what happened to cause him to leave and what is he doing now? I am sure some people on here know and, understandably, Simon Gilbert will probably have to avoid...

Sky Blue Trust Secretive Meeting(s) with SISU

I have not replied to many replies on here as some just appear to be argumentative, try to tell me what I am thinking and what actions I should take. OSB58, I hold you in higher regard than most posters on this forum as you have provided very insightful analyses and views in the past, hence I...

Sky Blue Trust Secretive Meeting(s) with SISU

What statement? Who is "we"? Not having a "go" (as you call it), these are genuine questions as you say there is more info in the statement.

Sky Blue Trust Secretive Meeting(s) with SISU

I don't know if minutes were kept which is why I placed the caveat in the comment. There is a possibility or rules being broken and I think there was an obligation to state that meetings were taking place which is one of the reasons for the existence of the trust and should continue. I think...

Sky Blue Trust Secretive Meeting(s) with SISU

There was a meeting of the society, with a third party, and minutes were not kept. If minutes were kept then they were not circulated, although not circulating is not a breach of the rule. Irrelevant of the rules, I would have thought the SBT have an obligation to communicate to the members.

Sky Blue Trust Secretive Meeting(s) with SISU

I agree. I do not see how the Sky Blue Trust can justify their stance as they have broken there own constitution rules, specifically rule 111.1 If they do not follow their own constitution then they cannot be trusted.

    ACL Statement?

I try to keep uptodate on news but I do not recall seeing a statement from ACL regarding the payments received from the Football League or regarding the decision by SISU (and others) to appeal the Judicial Review decision. Does anyone have the details of the ACL statements?

    ricoh return rumour

The original line was that the investors could and would fund any losses incurred by moving to Northampton for 3 to 5 years, this funding was confirmed by the Football League. You appear to be stating that the investors can no longer fund the move so someone has provided misleading information...

New Stadium / Old Stadium Tech Ideas

Here are some technology ideas for the new stadium based on the new San Francisco 49'ers new stadium, or even ideas to upgrade the old stadium (Ricoh) wherever City end up. Will the Food & Beverage ideas be accepted by the club? San Francisco 49ers move to their shiny new ‘Levi’s’ Stadium this...

Football League Initiative to help fans avoid travelling

The hypocrisy of the Football League is clear in this initiative. Just saw this press release from the Football League, they are installing fiber optic links between grounds so that fans do not have to travel long distances to see their team play. The press release states: Following the...

Sky Blue Trust Secretive Meeting(s) with SISU

In another thread it was stated that Trust leadership met with Joy and the details have been kept secret from Trust Members at the request of SISU. There may be nothing to these meetings but as representatives of the members they should not be concealing information from the members they...

    Why don't the players protest?

If the players and manager had been united with the fans being opposed to the move to Northampton then they should have shown solidarity and opposed the move last season. It is too late now as many of the players have signed over the last year and knew what they were agreeing, playing at...
