    Wasps downward spiral...

This is the Premiership Cup competition which is being played during the Rugby World Cup. Teams will be fielding fringe and academy players. Yes, they probably are worried fans will stay at home and watch the World Cup on TV instead.

    Forest Green next season then

I've been to Forest Green as a neutral. Got train to Gloucester then bus to Forest Green which stops outside ground. Beware, if you get off bus in Nailsworth town square it's a VERY steep hill up to ground on top of the hill!

    England v Scotland @ Ricoh

A few inaccuracies here. Firstly it is a Rugby LEAGUE international and League fans are wondering why the game is not being played in the Rugby League Heartlands (Lancs/Yorks/Cumbria). England v Scotland is not a big game in League (nothing like it's Union equivalent). Scotland are merely a...

Reda suffers another injury setback !!!!!

His Twitter feed is now full of nostalgia of his time at Sheffield Wednesday (with photos), not a word about CCFC. Obviously doesn't want to be here, get rid.

    Should pressley be sacked

Not a great fan of how sacking managers seem to always be the answer. But with the squad we have we should be nearer the top of the league than the bottom. Would sacking the manager really help? Well looking at the dramatic effect a new manager seems to have on teams these days (Gary Rowett, Kit...

    Something to be proud of?

I am very proud of the way City have responded to the question of taking on Ched Evans. Too many in football believe that the sport can exist in a cocoon totally separate to the real world.

Wasps in talks to takeover Ricoh

Premiership Rugby Clubs are well known for playing home games away from their original base. London Irish play in Reading (Majewski Stadium) and London Welsh play in Oxford (Kassam). There have been various Wasps-Ricoh rumours flying about ever since Wasps used the Ricoh to stage a Heineken Cup...

    Meanwhile in Sunderland...

We should really take it as a compliment that a Premier League club is still thinking about us after all these years. As Wilde said, the only thing worse than people talking about you is them not talking about you.

    Massive congratulations

I think you're right that Sisu underestimated the amount of fans that would stay away. Crucial to getting a deal done was a change of personalities on both sides which took out the poison that was there in the past. Good luck to Notts Co. too this season.

    Coventy United 17th May 2014

Where was it announced a few days ago? The first mention of it I can find on social media is yesterday. Also today's Coventry Telegraph states The Alan Higgs Centre. The ''may as well be run by SISU'' comment can be found in the comments section as part of a posting by Ed Carey.

    Coventy United 17th May 2014

For those who don't know it was announced last night on social media that ''due to unforseen pitch circumstances'' this game was moved to Austrey Rangers FC near Tamworth. From what I hear quite a few fans turned up at the Alan Higgs Centre to find game moved and a comment posted by a fan on the...

NEWS : Coventry United just a point from promotion ...in very first season

Last night it was announced that ''due to unforseen pitch circumstances'' this game will now be played at Austrey Rangers FC (near Tamworth). Pretty poor show to announce this at such a late hour and I'm sure fans will turn up at Alan Higgs unaware of this change. Ironic too that a protest club...

Regardless of the rhetoric who thinks....

Would love to think that we will return but SISU's pigheadedness seems to know no bounds and their realtionship with ACL/Council is so poisonous. They have also made it clear that they do not intend walking away from the club in a hurry.
