Just a Reminder, this is a Football Forum

And neither do I! I left this forum months ago after having a drunken argumement with a fellow Cov fan about politics. Nick is right, time and place and all that. Hopefully I've sent this text to the right site!! PUSB!

We needed three from three once and we did it! Every other team around us is bricking it, every other team is moaning about team selection etc. We're in a good position, and more importantly, we play enough good football to save us. The breaks will come.

We do seem to be having a 'cursed a Gypsy' type of season but the upside is that it can't get much worse. The positive for me is that due to the size of this league we might end up playing games against teams who have nothing to play for.

We are Cov, we'll stay up in the last minute of the last game with a deflected goal off the defenders earlobe! Every other team will have injury/suspension problems. I genuinely don't believe we are the third worst team in this league and we definitely don't have the third worst manager.

I get that, but who are these forwards who will take the chances? Biamo/Bako (probably not this level) two injured players and a guy who is still finding his feet at this grade. In the entire season I'm struggling to think of too many times when we wasted a one-on-one with the goalie?

This league is ridiculously and stupidly large, there will always be daft results. What encourages me is the fact that we've hardly been horsed this season. Bournemouth when they were on form, yes, but other than that? (missed the Reading away game).

Happy clappy incoming. I think we look much more of a Championship side than we did at the start of the season. We are still better, and ahead, of the two teams we were better of last year - find one more and we're safe.

That's the reality of it. Pask made a mistake for the goal but cut him some slack, he's not Paulo Maldini. Generally we played well tonight but the deflection Gods were against us. Such is life.

    Tonight’s games

Who is finding form though? I can't recall anyone near us going on a nine or ten game unbeaten run or suchlike. This league is mad and there will be points dropped all over the place by everyone.

Cringey football terms deserving of a temporary ban

Thank you. I agree. Throw in referees assistant, no plan B and put on the afterburners and the user should be tortured to death in front of their children. Tough, but it's the only they'll learn.

I'm naïve, what does CAM (and GOAT) mean? Back on topic - "set plays" and "it's a massive massive game".

Ditto. It's been a godsend to me. If the UEFA rules allow it, I'd love to see it stay post COVID as it could gain revenue for clubs in certain circumstances. As as example - Bournemouth play at Middlesbrough midweek, dunno maybe a 100 fans travel? Have it on ifollow and available to Bournemouth...

Sleep easy. Two years ago Shankland was basically scoring in a pub league. Currently I think we're better than Dundee United Sleep easy. Dundee United are basically a League One standard and I think he's scored 6 goals for them? Sam Cosgrove at Aberdeen is a better player, but in the two...

Without delving into politics again, the leader of the Scottish Tories (Douglas Ross) is a EUFA grade linesman. There was a stooshie a while back when he missed a vote awhile back because he was on duty at a Lodgorets vs FC Mettalburg Moldovan derby, or somesuch. Back on track, O'Donnell would...

*** referees in Fife - who knew! Apparently Celtic are trying to get Stephen O'Donnell (Scotland international RB) from Motherwell on a freebie. Hopefully that will bin the Dabo talk but it makes you think what is his actual value. Frimpong was 21 and signed from Man City. Even though he never...

Forgive me Father for I have sinned. Talking to my Popish pals and trying to get Celtic to buy Dabo for £5 million. They sold Frimpong for £11.5 million this week - Dabo is a better player but we're in a diddy league and all that.
