Watching northern Ireland and possible goalie for us

As was Cobi Jones, Alexi Lalas would have rivalled Killer in the legend stakes too!

    Past players in today's market

Tbf, that price in equivalent terms is very high. The world record at the time (2000) was £35m for Crespo. Keane's fee at about a third of that would be equivalent to £31m today against the world transfer record of £86m for Bale.

Summery doesn't generally exist up there. I'd quite like Bristol Rovers away.

I think he's the tea boy at the council meetings.

Neville would stroll in to today's England team, he was a very very good right back. As much as Walker and Clyne are great going forward and athletic, Neville got forward very well himself. Southgate would get into the side ahead of Smalling / Cahill and Anderton was better than Henderson.

    Goal Music

No music, the roar of the crowd is all you want to hear.

Bats, newts and frogs to quash Wasps?

It's pretty standard this in most planning applications, usually holds things up for a while.

    Past players in today's market

The fact that the likes of Vardy are now in the England squad (yes he's had a good season and it's not about who he plays for) show the real decline of English football. Once teams sit back he is anonymous, completely anonymous.

    Phil Townsend inquest

What's most odd about it is the lengths to the CT are going to in an attempt to try and clear his name. Most people probably had little idea who he was nor what he'd done wrong. Funny how his conviction for failing to pay the national minimum wage (can't remember if it was a young apprentice)...

    Phil Townsend inquest

Yes. She was on the BBC this morning. She hasn't denied that he got a mortgage on somebody else's house but just called it a 'family dispute'.

Arguments against Coventry as a 'City of Rugby'

Councils aren't for promoting the watching of sport (what does that do for health and well-being?) they're supposed to be promoting participation.

    BPA Update

Sorry yes, my mistake. He took the leasehold for the land they're on. It's more like Wasps saving CCFC!
  18. fernandopartridge

    MP stabbed

That's dreadful. R.I.P. By the sounds of it, the murderer sounds like somebody with some form of mental illness.

    BPA Update

Millerchip saved CRFC in the same way that the council saved the football club. Took possession of the freehold of the land they're on.

    killing education for wasps?

It's the same difference really. The council are Wasps main advocate in this city.
