    The end of Sisu?

That doesn't look like a step up to me.

    The end of Sisu?

Might also explain the move to build houses on Ryton. They possibly don't have any intention of building on it or selling it of separately to the club but its a cheap and fairly easy process to get it approved as a housing development and an easy way to add value to the site and therefore club.

    The end of Sisu?

Ranson was long gone when the council invited any serious offer.

    The end of Sisu?

Source? Plus it sounds like you've saying it isn't the councils fault. Why the change?

    The end of Sisu?

They've certainly moved last November to Kensington High Street https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/03413843/filing-history Couldn't tell you if that's downsizing or not or even a worse postcode or not. Certainly doesn't sound as glamorous. I'm visualising (rightly or wrongly) a dingy...

    The end of Sisu?

I couldn't say one way or the other if there's any truth in the OP but to me it could make sense. I keep suggesting that the reason they never made a serious bid for the Ricoh when invited is because they couldn't raise the capital. The OP certainly ties in with that. It also ties in with the...

Sisu gone on Monday? Yanks are coming!

I suspect that the call from America was a convenient excuse to let the rumour out the bag. Still believe it when I see it.

    Some financial matters

Probably. Now they've read it on here ;) Despite all the filibuster SISU haven't exactly shown themselves to be the sharpest tools in the box during their tenure as CCFC owners.

    Some financial matters

Someone pulling a fast one over SISU while they're all stood around with a stupid look on their faces going WHAT! WHEN? It would never happen ;)

    Some financial matters

A CCFC director benefiting from the sale of a club asset at the expense of the club? It would never happen ;)

Sisu gone on Monday? Yanks are coming!

He did say that they'd heard the rumours floating around. I must say when I heard it on CWR today it was the first I'd heard of it and given the amount of "it's all very well getting SISU to sell but who's going to buy it" responses on the SISU petition thread it doesn't sound like I'm the only...

Sisu gone on Monday? Yanks are coming!

Anyhow. Does anyone know where the rumour started? I don't mean on CWR. Where did CWR hear it from?

    Gilbert's Book

I'm waiting for the Les Reid book myself. I heard it's got a forward from non other than Joy Seppala. Apparently she's written the beginning, middle and end too ;)

They say eye rack instead of Iraq. I could do this all night.

Sisu gone on Monday? Yanks are coming!

Five things we know about our American owners. 1) they're American. 2) they speak English with an American accent. 3) they call the boot of a car a trunk. 4) they can't say aluminum correctly. 5) they can't say tomato correctly.

Now that is a fact. FACT!

Sisu gone on Monday? Yanks are coming!

He said that they'd heard rumours that there was interest from America. Nothing more and nothing less. He certainly didn't put a timescale on anything or give an indication of how reliable or probable the rumour was. I wouldn't start getting excited yet. There doesn't seem to be any substance...
