Yet they still paid £6M for it. I'm surprised that you of all people are praising the council but here we are. I still don't think it was worthless myself but what do I know. I also don't think the council should be praised for getting £6M for it, it was undersold IMO but then again my position...

I don't think it necessarily has to be exclusively one of those Dave.

ACL, unlike the loan wasn't sold with a 250 year lease. If the loan is apparently irrelevant to the sale price the length of the current lease must be even less relevant. Given that it didn't exist at the time of the sale.

I would never say otherwise. I'm no finance expert but if someone was telling me that something was worthless I wouldn't be disappointed at getting £6M for it. I certainly wouldn't be expecting those who told me it was worthless to then be telling me that I had undersold it at £6M. Would you?

So is JR2 is even more pointless than JR1 then? I never thought it was worthless unlike you so I don't know why you're asking a question you already know the answer to. We'll probably find out in 2 - 3 posts time when you finally get to the point you want to make but want to play silly games in...

Which was £6M more than you valued it for.

I think he's probably talking about the basket ball player Chris Andersen. Or maybe not.

I was clearly talking in the context of the assumption that you and Steve are lying. Not like you to take something out of context hey.

Won't it just. The guy thinks he's being called a liar. You point out that he's not necessarily lying, he's just been told a line, bought it and repeated it and then he dumps all that horse shit on you. That will learn me.

I'm not saying it doesn't make sense. But there's more than one version of events out there (not uncommon with our club) and unlike others I don't pretend to know which one is correct or where the stories originated from. They could yet all prove to be bullshit. Wouldn't be the first time.

Fuck me. I can't even stick up for you without getting some vile nonsense spouted back at me. You truly are the biggest arse I've ever come across.

    Chris Anderson

Maybe neither you or Steve are lying. You both just happened to hear the same BS that originated from the same bullshiter?

I think there is will if it's an easy option. Something as simple as going to B instead of A. When we get into having to do something time consuming and requiring investment, such as paying and erecting temporary stands, catering facilities and toilet facilities I can't see them being interest...

    Chris Anderson

Out of interest where are you getting that the club only wanted another 2 + 2 year deal story from?
  15. skybluetony176

    Chris Anderson

Can't see that happening either NW. Isn't it ran by the labour run Birmingham City Council? Surely a quick word in their ear from a neighbouring labour run city council would put an end to that?

It is a while ago but my memory is every midland club either blanked them or made their position clear but Walsall had to go the extra mile and make an official statement as rumours were rife that a deal was imminent. Out of interest what ground is that in the picture?

And you think that the 35mile restriction should be lifted?
