    I'll say it

Personally, I think they will let him go, Wolves ought to be competing for a Europa League spot and beyond after this season. Bright is a good player, but I can’t see him being in a position to play 1st team for Wolves again. For me, he probably ends up at a Championship side unless Robins...

    I'll say it

We’ve got 2-3 players out of contract. I think Robins will convince Willis to stay. As for Burge, I wouldn’t be upset if he chose to part ways. Bright is also out of contract, I’m hoping we can snap him up when he becomes available. Signing Willis and Bright would be a statement of intent that...

Match Thread Peterborough United vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 16th Mar

Well, a lot of our supporters can’t really distinguish between a bad game and a bad player. We could easily drag up the threads about Sterling, Hiwula, Bakayoko, Robins and Chaplin. Even a few negative comments about Bright too.

How did people not see that it’s joke? I went out in a France football shirt after England lost to them in a friendly and some eejit tried to start on me. That was humorous. Some right Neanderthals out there.

Was he a Cov fan and your lot bought him a Villa kit for the game? That’s brilliant!

When will our fans learn? Threads calling for Robins to go don't tend to age well.

    Next season

We got £3m for Wilson and another £1m for Clarke under Pressley, and nothing was really put back into the team. The trends seem to be that when there's a chance of success, our investment goes up, likewise, the board cuts the budget and sells players when our season is going badly. I could be...

    Bakayoko stat breakdown

I’d like to see Chaplin and Bakayoko have a few games at some point, as I think they’ll make an interesting partnership. That said, Chaplin needs to offer something off the bench to get a look in.

Yes, I get that, but the board has seemingly been more willing to back Robins than other managers.

Robins has been someone SISU have consistently backed, even in his first spell. I sympathise with Pressley because he had to deal with admin and cutting the budget. Mowbray was backed a bit, and I think a combination of his poor recruitment and slashing the budget put us in a position where we’d...

Well, we didn’t and he probably wanted to play in Scotland. Good luck to him, and I’m glad to see he’s doing well for Hibs.

    Next season

We’re 4 points off playoffs, so we could still make the playoffs. Next season, we ought to really push for the playoffs and I’ll judge Robins accordingly next season. Given the context of losing McNulty, and us being a newly promoted team, I’m pretty happy with where we’re at as a team.

    March to the arch to

Hoping Barnsley and Luton absolutely batter Doncaster then... Then it’s up to us to do our thing, I’d still take a draw v P’boro.

    Next season

Personally, I think it’s neither, we’ve always been a top half side this season. Thankfully, we’re on a bit of a run and a few teams around us are struggling for form, so playoffs is now a possibility. The section of fans expecting us to get playoffs as a minimum requirement on the back of a...

11 wins from 19 remaining games to make playoffs

I agree, it seems to be the case that whenever we have an ‘easy’ run of games, we tend to slip up. It is a dog fight for that 6th place spot, another cliché, but we’ve got to want it more than P’borough, Blackpool and Doncaster.

11 wins from 19 remaining games to make playoffs

I think 6th place will have a lower than average points tally as in previous seasons, hopefully. We’ve got several big games coming up, starting with tomorrow and hopefully we can get 3 points.

    Council Statement due today

The Coventry City Council can block planning permission for a stadium? It’s pretty obvious that it’s not only Sisu that’s preventing this hypothetical stadium being built.

No one from our first team came from non-league. I don't think Bosma hasn't made a single appearance on the bench, and was very much signed for the development team as someone who MAY be able to make the step up to the EFL. It's probably fair to say he's not on track to earn a new contract with...

You could probably buy a Mars bar with the money saved from terminating Bosma's contract. So it is very, very unlikely that signing Bosma prevented us from signing anyone for the first team. Given the number of players we've signed this season, I'm inclined to say signing a few development...

Precisely. A few posters criticised the example of signing players like Bosma instead of investing in the first team. But, as a League 1 team, supporting a squad of say, 25 senior professionals is not viable, for our budget or player happiness, look at how quickly Ogogo became unhappy and Brown...
