    FA and the escrow account?

The Cov Telegraph states 'The council is due to get £19.6m in interest over the 41 years of the loan to ACL'. So it appears that there is no spin suggesting that it is £19m profit. I'm sure the Council QC will accept your apology.

    The spin continues

Is this an offer that it's claimed Fisher agreed to, and then Joy stopped?

    FA and the escrow account?

There is no £19m potential profit wiped away from ACL, they always needed a loan, and would have paid interest. It's just that this interest went to the Council not to YB or whoever. The money wasn't sitting in the Council's bank earning interest, they got a loan, I doubt they are charging a...

    Joy Seppela

I doubt the FL and FA match FIFA in the size and number of financial irregularities, but happy to read your evidence to the contrary. I have no idea why you think I reference him due to any political view.

Judicial review day 3 - judgement day

Has it been confirmed that the verdict will be given today, I thought it could be days or weeks later?

The judge may as well stop the review now (you do know there is a review of this going on?). You should have mentioned this before.

Why the 14million 'loan; is an illegal measure

How were ACL failing? They have always made a profit haven't they? What evidence have you to suggest that there was no security (insurance as you term it)? How is it a hand out, are loan repayments not being made?

    Club Statement

If they had paid the full amount over they would say so, they say 'large sum', the implication being not the full amount. What is large to some people is not large to others, my girlfriend can confirm this.

    Football League deadline update

The timing was interesting as was the fact that the Telegraph only got involved via a chap in the canteen where Bennetts Afro works. Was it Bennett's Afro's friends that previously sent him SISU's court arguments? It's good that he posts here, the more info the better.

kcic (draft) FAQs - comments welcome!

When Michael said 'comments welcome' I think he meant about his post. Have you got anything to say about the Q & A's posted? Try not to start every word with a capital letter if you do reply.

kcic (draft) FAQs - comments welcome!

You're the only person who seems to think half of the Arena is for sale, so unless every one else is wrong, then I'm afraid you are. Even if they owned half of the arena (which will never ever happen), it wouldn't mean they could bring AIG in as ACL hold the lease. Just because they have a...

    Fans Forum

If the future is the Academy why did they risk it's future by moving out over their refusal to pay £20k maintenance? I guess the answer is obvious to someone like Joy who knows everything about football business.

kcic (draft) FAQs - comments welcome!

How did the Council pull the plug on them owning half of the Ricoh? I'm not aware that half the Ricoh has ever been for sale. Half of ACL was for sale, but again how did the Council pull the plug?

    Football League deadline update

According to Labovitch 'a large sum of money' has already been paid and is being held in escrow. I can't believe he would lie about that. He then goes on to say 'there is a risk that they might be paid twice over. As soon as this uncertainty is resolved, the correct sum can be determined and...

    Football League deadline update

Labovitch says many things, I would suggest it foolish for anyone to believe all that he comes out with. The admin process completion has nothing to do with the FL insistence that payment should be made to ACL by the current holder of the golden share.

Sounds like you've seen all the evidence and formed an opinion on your expert legal knowledge, especially around judicial reviews. Excellent. Please can you explain the bits that are 'contrary to what is allowed'. Thanks.

    Season Ticket Update

Don't feel guilty Chez, you're doing the right thing. There is no reason for us to be playing in Northampton. It's important that people stick to their principles, when this is all over you will feel proud that you did the right thing for the long term future of the club.

Keith Houchen re lives his FA Cup Final wonder goal

At the start of the 86/87 season I started a scrapbook, all the cut outs from the footy mags, team photos, copies of The Pink, all the papers from the Cup run, all the Sunday papers after we won. Stored everything in a huge Puma hold all, found out that about 10 years later my mum needed a bag...

Keith Houchen re lives his FA Cup Final wonder goal

His goal rarely gets mentioned either, but a good cross from Downs, a good flick on from Houchen, then Bennett sprints past the defender, gets a touch past Clemence, steadies himself but is falling back, but still gets a good shot in without blasting it over.
