Kcic front bid to buy club

Rent offer - As I see it you haven't offered them anything that they couldn't get from ACL themselves, so what am I missing that makes your offer more attractive?

Kcic front bid to buy club

No business would accept the offer as it stands. The crowd will always be over 5,000, so how much rent will the club pay? The ball that Michael has started rolling needs to be stopped, and then another ball, one with details on it, can be rolled.

Kcic front bid to buy club

There is a lack of clarity with pretty much all the offer. There isn't any part of it the club can agree to unless far more detail is revealed.

Kcic front bid to buy club

This isn't the deal though is it? There hasn't been any mention of KCIC taking a share of the gate money, only that some/all costs of the rent will be paid by the club if the crowd is over 5,000.

Kcic front bid to buy club

Michael, what finance do you need in place? Crowds will be over 5,000 so you won't need any money for rent.

Kcic front bid to buy club

Lots of things aren't for sale, Wilson is one example, my girlfriend is another, but if the right offers come in, then who knows what might happen.

Kcic front bid to buy club

An offer to buy the club isn't going to be accepted when the offer comes in on Wednesday, and you say reply by Friday morning, and oh, by the way, write off all your loans. It gets a headline, but that's all that will happen with this approach.

Kcic front bid to buy club

The crowd will be more than 5,000 and therefore it seems the deal is that SISU would pay the rent, and therefore this won't happen. To put pressure on SISU the offer to pay rent would have to have no strings attached, they still wouldn't accept, but at least the excuses would have to be...

Is Joy the boss of Otium though? Shouldn't the Directors be making the decisions?

    Email from FL

Godiva thinks the judge is saying he would have come to the same conclusion as ACL, rather than saying he would have made the same decision about the costs regardless of ACL's opinion.

Marilyn Knatchbull-Hugessen states it well...... The Judge described it as a “nil-all draw”, which is why he said he would have made a court order that we each bear our own costs had we not already agreed to do so. So perhaps Mark Labovitch of Otium and Sky Blue Sports and Leisure didn’t...

Simon Gilbert, has there been an FL response?

How much financially better off would we be? Maybe £15m if no rent paid and if we also had access to revenue, the club would still be broken. I agree though that the Council has lacked foresight in this, but even if the rent was zero now do you think SISU would bring the club back?

    Email from FL

Found a bit here... http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/sport/football/football-news/sisu-appeals-against-judges-rejection-5720009 Extract The letter from the League’s chief operating officer Andy Williamson, dated August 5, states: “...In order to keep the club alive, the Football League board...

Simon Gilbert, has there been an FL response?

I'd have thought buying something worthless would be cheaper than buying something valuable.

Simon Gilbert, has there been an FL response?

To come back after ACL are bankrupt would presumably involve the club, or the clubs owners, buying a lease off the Council. I'd have thought it would be cheaper to buy the shares in ACL.

Simon Gilbert, has there been an FL response?

The FL have said £590k needs to be paid for one thing. MM & GR have paid £300k for something. The argument is whether the one thing is the same as the something, or whether the something is for something else.

When we sell Wilson, I hope you all remember......

This is the problem when a persons credibility is lost, they are open to ridicule and just about any side can point to something they have said to make their point. Probably best if Fisher and Labovitch can find a job elsewhere, is anyone willing to give them a reference?

    Pulling Power

I would say it has some bearing, but only where the wages and length of contract being offered are equal. I can't think of any professional player that would willingly play for less money just because they can play in a nice arena for 35 hours a season.

    FA and the escrow account?

I wasn't saying it is or isn't, I'm saying the QC didn't mention profit, he said that was how much the Council would be paid. The Council say they are charging more interest to ACL than they are being charged, that should give them a profit. No one has said that the profit will be anywhere near...

    FA and the escrow account?

I'll stay out of any argument you're having with Jack. The statement is certainly being clever with words, something you are usually a fan of. Lord has misstated the QC, something he may wish to recognise, but that is up to him of course.
