Ricoh Arena and Development Land Value ?

Even if there's only one buyer for a product, it doesn't necessarily mean that the product is worthless. Maybe someone like AEG would see worth in having a lease there, if it went to a tender could SISU really risk not being the highest bidder?

Ricoh Arena and Development Land Value ?

What would be the process for the club to return if ACL 'go down'? It would involve a new lease being sold by the Council to the highest/best bidder wouldn't it?

Simon Gilbert, has there been an FL response?

My reading of this is that the payment is not waiting on the liquidation process at all, merely that the FL used the same amount that was proposed in the CVA.

Simon Gilbert, has there been an FL response?

Posted this last week, but covers some of the points in this thread. http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/spo...ection-5720009 Extract The letter from the League’s chief operating officer Andy Williamson, dated August 5, states: “...In order to keep the club alive, the Football League board...

Next Season team at the moment

I heard that Wilson was being shown round Sheff Wed a week or so ago. Comes from a source that knows the manager and other current staff up there. Apparently they are also looking at two other strikers and Wilson wouldn't be their first choice.

    SISU tenacity

Not that great at hiding away from tax (from 2011)........The owner of Coventry City registered a loss before tax of £272,000, a slight improvement on last year's figure of £376,000. The figures were not helped by a £161,000 tax bill Sisu had to pay after an HMRC inquiry into previous tax years...

Net worth of £800k according to their 2013 accounts. Turnover of £1.7m, Grendel achieves that turnover with 4 phone calls. Their investors may have money, but they will run out of patience soon (hopefully).

This new contact could always ring ML, and then it would save the wait.

The backers are not required, crowds will be over 5,000.

Exactly. Hadn't the deadline to respond to the rent offer already passed, and then on the day Labovitch cancels the forum he set up, he decides to tell the Telegraph that he will call Michael to talk about the offer. Which decision then gets talked about the most?

Sky Blues will discuss KCIC Ricoh Rent offer

If Labovitch didn't want people talking about the forum being cancelled I imagine he would send out some possible news about something else. This ploy seems to have worked.

    JR Verdict Thread

To us it's the week commencing I think, but the Council and SISU (or whoever) find out this week, if they haven't already. MR JUSTICE HICKINBOTTOM: Thank you, Mr Thompson. I will 21 obviously reserve judgment. I will in the usual way 22 send round a draft of the judgment before I hand it...

Kcic front bid to buy club

Michael has done very well highlighting our plight, he has done so whilst getting plenty of unwarranted criticism in the past. As it stands though this offer doesn't stack up. Why mention the £1m backing, it will never be needed, crowds will be over 5,000. How could SISU accept an offer...

Kcic front bid to buy club

Well if the backers are willing to put the money in then ask for the 5,000 limit to be taken away. Make a no strings attached totally free return to the Ricoh for 3 years (assuming the FL are happy). There's been no confirmation that ACL are happy with this offer, or what the cost will be...

Kcic front bid to buy club

Hello Mr Ears, one way if the backers are truly committed to putting up £1m would be to say we'll pay all the rent and match costs, no cost at all to SISU. If that is turned down, which I believe it would be, then puts slightly more pressure on SISU, but ultimately if the FL don't step in we...

Kcic front bid to buy club

Assuming that crowd is more than 5,000 how much are these directors committing themselves to pay? I imagine you don't know, the same as no one does, so how can they accept the offer?
