The Arsenal game won't be included in the calculations for 14/15 as it's the current seasons income that is monitored not the previous season.

what will you do next season ???

I think the distance is a factor for many, and I agree that if they did share closer more would go. I also think many people went to the MK game to prove that distance wasn't the issue for them.

    Why should CCC help?

The Council have already helped, they secured a loan so that ACL could reduce its interest payments, and thereby afford to offer CCFC a lower rent.

Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

If someone is foolish enough to give them the money, and they are foolish enough to build it, then they will own it all. It will lose them, or their investors a fortune, but they will own it.

Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

The thread is about ML wanting an old valuation of ACL. ACL don't own the stadium, they own the lease. Not sure whether SISU still want to own the stadium, but the club needs to own the lease to generate any revenue.

Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

Some facts for you Don. 8 MR JUSTICE LEGGATT: Sorry, you're suggesting she thought 9 the company was worth nothing, but still would pay 10 5.5 million for it? 11 A. She recognised that they were a charity, yes...

Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

No, I should have said the dispute was ongoing, and the rent was under threat.

Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

I doubt Deering was correct when she said the £5.5m offer was in recognition of Higgs charitable status. The £2m cash offer followed that, so realistically there is no way that the value is zero. Maybe ML issuing their valuation would force the issue a bit more.

Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

Club moving out and uncertainty over whether ACL could generate other income to cover what the club was paying. ACL have traded for two years since and don't appear to have any problems financially.

Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

I agree, it's ML that doesn't seem to appreciate that.

Labovitch calls for independent ACL valuation

SISU spent plenty of time doing due diligence for the purchase of Higgs shares, they would already have their own valuation from their own experts. Maybe ML could publish the valuation they had done. Whilst it would be interesting to know what the Pwc valuation was, it was 2 years ago, and...

Should ACL show Wembley how to make a profit?

Even if you half the interest to £6m for the 7 months they would still have made a loss of over a million in 7 months. It does highlight the danger of thinking building a new ground will be the answer to any financial woes. The question has been raised many times about how the club could...

Should ACL show Wembley how to make a profit?

Wembley Stadium rocked by £7.2m loss over seven months as building costs continue to weigh on its fortunes By ALEX HAWKES, FINANCIAL MAIL ON SUNDAY Even the Champions’ League final and Bruce Springsteen could not help Wembley Stadium turn a profit. Its owners reported a £7.2million loss in...

So what do you get for £6.5 million?

I think Higgs and the Council have equal directors, and the chairman is independent. In theory the rent could be £2m, but I'm sure any rent agreement would form part of any share purchase. The no revenues bit could only happen if SISU decided not to pass them on. If SISU pass the revenue on we...

So what do you get for £6.5 million?

Well the offer that was accepted was £5.5m, but lets not argue over a million. You get access to 50% of the revenues of the arena, but clearly buying them at £5.5m should be viewed as a long term investment. I seem to recall that assets were more than liabilities, so you do get more than £7m of...

So what do you get for £6.5 million?

In the case of ACL the shareholders also have Directors on the Board. ACL own 77% (this specific % may be slightly out) of the catering (part of IEC Experience), and the income is included in the accounts of ACL. If the club had plenty of money buying the shares may be a good long term option...

So what do you get for £6.5 million?

Any buyer is purchasing the 50% of the shares in ACL, they would take the loan (not sure why we keep calling it a mortgage), and everything else. Being a shareholder in a company I suspect you already know this, so where are you going with this line of enquiry?
