I can't remember a game where discounted prices led to a large increase in the crowd compared to those who would go to the same game at the higher price.

If the question is how do we get more people in, then reducing the price will be the answer. If the question is how does the club maximise its income, the answer is not to reduce the price.

More people will be watching City than Pam Eyres, so surely that tells you what is better value, escpecially if you consider her to be better known.

The high prices you quote all get sold though, they could probably put the prices up. Our prices are about right, if we win games people will pay, if we lose it's hard to give tickets away so the price is not the main factor.

Ticket revenue hasn't been our main income for years, certainly wasn't in the last set of accounts, and I doubt it has been since.
