    Are People really Bleating?

How was the offer you suggest better?

Would you now back a new ground?

No, you own a lease to operate from the land and the property.

    Are People really Bleating?

If it turns out not to be viable then they will sell their shares. I wonder if SISU will still be obsessed with freehold then.

    Are People really Bleating?

Is that the offer that SISU didn't want to carry on with?

    Are People really Bleating?

Ann Lucas told the council: “I’ve promised any conversation I have with Ms Seppala would remain private. Anything that’s come out of that room has not come from me. “I’ve made it clear and it’s no secret I am prepared to talk to, and do business with, any sensible legitimate business person...

Would you now back a new ground?

In my previous post I'm not for a moment suggesting that's the case, I'm merely highlighting yet another reason why a new stadium is madness. It will not return an investor any money, and it will not benefit the club.

    Can you be more specific?

    Higgs statement

Would you now back a new ground?

    Are People really Bleating?

What do you mean by '£2m offered on not buying the loan'?
  14. Rusty Trombone

    Higgs statement

It has certainly been sold off cheaply. If SISU hadn't pissed the shareholders off so much then this could have worked out well for the club.

Would you now back a new ground?

Say you could buy the land, pay for the build and all the associated fees, for £25m. Say you could find someone to lend you the money at 4%. The interest on this would be £1m per year, and that's without paying any of the £25m off. This is the minimum figure as I think it would cost more to...

Would you now back a new ground?

It would be the death of the club, the club would never be able to afford it.

    Higgs statement

Shows the importance of getting on with people, building trusting relationships etc.
  19. Rusty Trombone

    Higgs statement

It would be foolish for anyone to own half a business and not have the right to agree who a prospective new partner would be.
