I agree with some of your points, and if I thought the circumstances were exactly the same, then I think more people would be outraged. Not as many though, because generally you get more outrage if something affects someone, rather than based on principles.

    2.7 million wage budget

It may be the budget, doesn't necessarily mean he's been able to make use of it. They haven't said it's likely to be the wage bill.

Thats unfair, he's clearly put a lot of effort in there, and even if you don't agree, it's better to either come back with explanations, or to ignore.

Some people were less understanding, in a situation that isn't exactly the same. That will be case in every situation, some people refuse to buy Nestle products, some people only buy fair trade.

It's not the same situation, although I could never rule out ever being a hypocrit, I think everyone is at times in their lives. You could argue I'm a hypocrit now, as I give money to SISU yet I want them out, it's a quandary, but life is full of them.

We are on the east of Birmingham.

I've not seen any comments from the teams suggesting Cov will become a feeder club, I think Wasps have said they are prepared to loan Cov players, but that's different. With such a small amount of teams getting promoted and relegated in Rugby, I think it could be a long time before the teams...

I'll be more interested in knowing how they are getting on, and if they do some cheap tickets for schools I'll probably take the kids to watch, but ultimately I want Cov to best the best team in Cov, and I hope they get a chance to reach their potential.

I don't think putting a link is the same as distributing them etc, but if I'm wrong no doubt this thread will be removed.

http://www.ccfc.co.uk/news/article/stadium-forum-committee-meeting-coventry-city-091014-2007503.aspx Outline minutes from last weeks stadium forum. Sorry if already posted, didn't see anything, but may have missed it in all the Wasps and Pressley out discussions. Note the warning on the ccfc...

    Trust meet Wasps

Fisher said it at the SCG. Commercial deal for club is good. Mr Robinson and ACL want us to be a platinum client and get value out of this. Secondly we need to look at pricing because average F&B spend is less than £2 per person on matchday and also encourage fans to use the concourse...

They were never going to get what they paid, the proposed deal was for a £1m less.

So when you used the phrase going behind their back you weren't implying wrong doing, fair enough. Most uses of the phrase imply that something improper is going on, but I accept you simply meant they didn't inform anyone, and that everything is ok with that. I haven't raised any morality...

    Trust meet Wasps

The club have said they benefit from food and beverage sales on match days, are you saying that Wasps have ripped up the contract?

    Are People really Bleating?

From the JR, you'll love this. It kind of disagrees with your view the Council were going behind SISU's back in some kind of immoral way. the Council was fully entitled to engage in discussions with the Bank, unilaterally and without informing SISU: in English law, there is no general duty to...

    Are People really Bleating?

It's not a fact as such, because it didn't get to that stage. There were emails from the Council suggesting they would veto, this was in the August, after SISU had been playing silly buggers.

Lease - in the circumstances I've outlined, materially, yes. The Council didn't go behind SISU's back about the loan, in fact it was SISU that were speaking to the bank even though they had no right to do so. The Council spoke to the bank about the loan, I believe this was after the judge...

    Knee Jerk Reaction....

We're all well aware that they like to be clever with words. 1. We have a higher wage budget. 2. We have a higher wage bill. Two statements that could be read as being the same, but actually are different.

You seem to have a problem with reading and understanding, maybe you're out of your depth with this one. I have not said the longer a lease is the less it is worth, why you would make that up I've no idea. I'll try and make it simpler, I have said that, broadly, a lease that will last longer...
