    vs Crewe

What tactical environment were you brought up in? I know you're still at school :p, so just an answer based on life so far will be fine.

    Are People really Bleating?

Now you've stopped all the nonsense about SISU offering a better deal, and sarcastically talking about protecting a community asset, you've actually come out with some facts. There is hope. If they sold it and feel they have got a good deal, then the work they did before protecting their...

    Are People really Bleating?

I doubt it, they mean different things.

There will be security over the loan.

    Are People really Bleating?

Protecting a community asset. Protecting a commercial interest. I refuse to believe you cannot spot the difference, and I know you're not so stupid to understand the difference.

The ability to do anything you want without the permission of the freeholder unless permission has already been granted in the lease.

Thanks OSB58 for explaining the detail, once again. The short answer is no isn't it, no doubt you won't believe the answer.

    Higgs statement

It wasn't all they put in. CCFC put in very little but were given an equally powerful position.

    Are People really Bleating?

Are you suggesting that when people refer to a community asset, that they are talking about the 50% share in the Ricoh management company? I would suggest that the arena and it's land is the thing that is referred to as the community asset, as also that is what the Council say was not for sale...

Would you now back a new ground?

The sale of Highfield Rd wasn't the killer deal, selling the clubs share of ACL was, and of course not buying it back as soon as we could have. If we hadn't sold the share, half of the excessive rent would have come back, as we'd have owned half of ACL.

    Are People really Bleating?

No, the £2m was offered by SISU, it was not at Higgs request. The £2m offer was rejected. The offer of £5.5m was deemed by the Council to be a good offer, however the terms were clearly not acceptable to Higgs, there was no guarantee they would get the money, or that the bank would accept a...

Would you now back a new ground?

Did they, I don't know, I'll assume you're right. Good job we didn't sell the freehold then.

    Are People really Bleating?

What deals have been offered by SISU, that you think should have been acceptable to the bank and to ACL shareholders? I don't recall using a phrase about ripping off a childrens charity, so I assume that's a general point. How would Higgs get more from a SISU offer than from the Wasps offer...

    Higgs statement

No, not at all, I don't believe I know everything, and am quite willing to learn something new. So if you can explain what you're suggesting I will be happy to have a read.

It sounded good until the words 'or something' highlighted complete guesswork.

    Are People really Bleating?

It didn't help that SISU didn't want to pursue the deal. You cut and paste well, but you need to read everything for a full picture. I have selected a small part here, again I suggest a full read of everything though. I like this bit because you could take number 29 and draw conclusions, but...

    Are People really Bleating?

It would appear they have got a bargain though, especially with stadium naming rights due for renewal, that was worth £10m for 10 years last time I think.

Looks like the 4% bit was a later sale, it originally sold for more, and was then resold.
