How much did ACL & the Council actually put in

I think you have misunderstood it. As I understand it, there was a £31million shortfall in the budget (I'm ignoring the fit out costs in saying this) which was covered by the council through a £10million equity investment and £21million of prudential borrowing. The council then sold a lease on...

    Fans statement

As I understand it the club could remove itself from the Ricoh to minimise any on-going liability from the lease, particularly if they were looking for CCFC Ltd to be brought out of administration via a CVA rather than completely liquidating it. It may not matter what ACL say if Sisu don't want...

    Clever move by SISU

It is Coventry City FC Ltd that have been put into administration by the club, not Coventry City FC (Holdings) Ltd. Source: http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/2013/03/22/breaking-coventry-city-empty-stock-from-ricoh-arena-92746-33043538/

If we really have left the ricoh,

Might have something to do with trying to surrender the lease, which could be an issue as the advice I highlighted here suggested: http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/28462-Confused.com?p=401076#post401076 On that note, Tad's story on another thread about Fisher trying to return the keys...

I thought his tweet was suggesting the golden share was still with CCFC Ltd. But, yes, if the record he has been shown is now an old one that might make a difference.

The journalist @darrylejoemurphy has tweeted: "BREAKING: Records I've seen show 'Coventry City FC Ltd' (company which has gone into admin) owns its Ft Lge share" Can't see us avoiding anything less than a 10-point penalty if CCFC Ltd holds the golden share that grants league entry.

    As I understand it

You're right that it is confusing. As no one else has answered you at the time of writing, I'll give it a go. I'm no expert so I might have this wrong - and I'm happy to be corrected by anyone who does know - but as I understand it: 1. False. It seems to be CCFC Ltd that has been put into...

If CCFC play at Walsall and Nuneaton play at the Ricoh under a new name.....

    And around £2million a year in rent for a 99-year lease. So, £15million + (99 x £2million) = £213million.

West Ham are contributing £15million towards conversion of the stadium and will pay around £2million a year in rent for a 99-year lease.

Yep, I think we could be about to break new ground in law. This mess could play out for a good while yet if this text on exiting a property lease is correct: If a tenant gives up possession of their premises and hands back their keys to the landlord they may be able to prove that the landlord...

    The Football League

Indeed. That's why the whole ARVO charge was such a big deal when OSB discovered it existed. It gave Sisu what they believe is an insurance policy to take the risk. One might say they "hedged" their bets. We'll have to see what others, such as the Football League, make of this.
