Certain players frailties were exposed today - Mowbray

But Pressley did his due diligence on all of these players. How can they have fragilities?

    Blame

If we go down, who should shoulder the bulk of the blame out of the following people? Waggott, for his role in picking the manager and signing players. Pressley, for his management of the team, his tactics and the players he signed. Mowbray, for his management of the team, his tactics, and the...

    Trialists

That's 0.03 less than Heskey. He may be derided in some quarters, the fact that he was picked by a succession of England managers, and was highly regarded by almost every strike partner, shows that goals are not always the be-all and end-all. And the legends that are Peter Ndlovu and David...

    20 points - where from

To be fair, if SP had stayed then there is a significant chance those posters would have been proved right. There was no sign of positivity on the field, so how could we expect the fans muster it up off it?

The mental fragility will beat us here. Can only see us conceding.

    Sky Blues Talk - Downtime

Site very slow at times, especially changing pages on a thread. One of me post edits didn't save either.

Nearly a cock-up between Burge and a defender, conceding a corner.

Tudgay gets it to Nouble who screws a decent chance wide.

Hanson goes close from 10 yards, hitting one over the bar.

    Bradford match thread

Perhaps Nouble is there because of Bradford's physical presence, and Tudgay is there because of experience. Only explanation I can think of bar an injury / knock of some sort.

    Bradford match thread

It hurts to say it, but I see a 3-0 capitulation. Don't think we have the players for a fight. In fact, I genuinely think we're going down. Really hope I'm wrong, but we seem too mentally fragile right now, and unless something changes sharpish then I think we'll struggle to win again this...

    1995

Nice to see that the Telegraph can't spell his name properly either... But in all seriousness, the programme shows him as 'Carlita', not 'Calita'. Having said that, I did spell the 'keeper's name wrong (that was Harwick rather than Hardwick).

    1995

Just having a sort out and found an old program from 1995. Squad list on the back shows luminaries such as Ally Pickering, Willie Boland and very old versions of Gary Gillespie and Peter Shilton. However, squad number 21 was held by Carlita. To be honest, I can't remember the guy and can't even...

    Port Vale match thread

This time next week we could be 7 points clear of the bottom 4, or 5 points away from safety. Two massive games. But I can't see a dead cat bounce happening - going for a 2-1 defeat. Not because of TM, but because of the lack of quality in the squad coupled with the limited time he's had with...

    John Hartson

Actually, what about a Hartson and Whelan management team? They'd kick seven shades of sh*t out of anyone that didn't meet the expectations. #thecoventryway.

    John Hartson

I wouldn't be against Hartson. Was a striker for one (and a good one at that), so maybe we'd have a bit more about us going forward. He clearly has contacts in the game, and seems to be well respected. A decent analyst, too, compared to a lot of pundits.
