SISU / ACL arguments - for god's sake!

Yes, it is surely much easier observing from the outside, but as the OP is no stakeholder or allied to either side, his observation and opinion is worth taking serious. OP is spot on - the real problem is the club and stadium owners have conflicting interests, can't have a grown up dialog and...

    Ricoh Arena - parliamentary debate

Freezing - but I think it's great our match wasn't postponed. I may change my mind if we lose 1-2 though.

    Ricoh Arena - parliamentary debate

Well, if I was a gambler I would put my money on sisu being the first to ask for arbitration. They seem to have most to lose short term.

    Ricoh Arena - parliamentary debate

If mediation should have had any chance of success the parties should have agreed to use that instrument before christmas. By now they have each painted themself into corners and there seem to be absolutely no movement.

    Ricoh Arena - parliamentary debate

I don't think a public proces is required. Both parties will have to reveal financial and contractual details not usually printed in the yearly reports, and they may feel uneasy giving these details to the world. As long as the arbitration is binding and done by a football finance expert, I...

    Ricoh Arena - parliamentary debate

Mediation will just be more waste of time. Most believe that neither side will feel comfortable with arbitration, and that's exactly why it should be the chosen way. If outside authorithies like the league and/or the sport minsters office could lean on the parties, that might just get them...

Not a good choice - he would eliminate a key part of our play. He don't like crosses.

What companies in C&W would be affected without ccfc?

It's everybody's guess if - or how many - businesses will close if the club cease to exist, but it is undeniable that quite a few people will lose their job. Collateral damage?

What companies in C&W would be affected without ccfc?

If the worst happens a lot of people will be out of job. Maybe the stadium can set up a soup kitchen? Then it would make sense ACL have a charity as part owners.

What companies in C&W would be affected without ccfc?

There is no doubt that a loss of ccfc would have a big impact on the local businesses, and in a time with high unemployment it will be devasting for a lot of families.

    Ambitious Appointment - Peter Scmeichel?

He's a TV anchorman on a Danish football show and has been for a number of years. He doesn't have any badges. I think if he ever goes back to the game it would be as football director - not as a manager.

    Ambitious Appointment - Peter Scmeichel?

Actually his trademark was throwing the ball to the centerline with inch perfect precision. He won't come here though.

    Million dollar question

Thank you for your answer. If the club made no contact to try to renogotiate the rent before stopping payment, then that is simply stupid and unjustifiable. I would really like a comment from Fisher on that.

I agreed with you BSB. 'Where did I say matchday expenses are unreasonable? Re-read and stand corrected.'

    Million dollar question

If he don't it will look like he only came on to cast more doubt over TF's statement. I am sure he is more fairminded and balanced than that.

    Million dollar question

Paying matchday expenses is not unreasonable at all - the club is expected tp pay this and have apparantly done so. The Escrow money is a different matter because if they were in ccfc balance sheet as an asset, then surely the money belonged to the club. I don't know if it was indeed a ccfc...
