    Potential investors

Don, please allow me to correct a few misleading points in your post. Not a go at you, so bear with me. If SISU go into admin .... SISU are not going into administration. It's the club that may go into admininistration. with SISU as the main person ..... SISU are a hedge fund, not a person...

Are you going to renew your season ticket?

Last season many said they would not renew as they wouldn't give more money to sisu. Well, now you can give your money to the administrator instead. And he will be happy to collect.

A real positive to come out of this season

Is she from Petersburg, Petrograd, Leningrad or Sct. Petersburg? Or maybe from Tsaritsyn, Stalingrad or Volgograd? If she's from Stalingrad I guess you married her as Coventry's official tribute to the sister city.

    The Perfect Scenario...

That would then be the perfect scenario for the council and Higgs ... but ... as stated by other posters, perfect doesn't exist. I don't get why ccc are insisting in coupling club ownership to land and area developing. There are companies specialized in running sports clubs and do land and...

    Beware of a

No, I think ACL is expecting other potential buyers coming in - and I wouldn't be surprised if they have met one or two already. But at the end of the day it may be that those potential buyers withdraw leaving sisu as sole bidder. In that case ACL won't have any option but to accept. In...

    Beware of a

'Shafting someone' ... in what sense? Everybody agree the club and stadium should be united under one owner. The separation is preventing the club in making a profit, buy players and managers who can take us to where we believe we rightly belong (where Swansea are now). The separation will...

    Beware of a

If she pulls the plug on the club she's lost her investors money ... and if she only care about what they think of her, she will not pull the plug easily. If she want investors who like her, she need to make a return on their investment. That requires the club become profitable and start gain...

    Beware of a

I kind of like that article (although I think it's the fifth or sixth time it's printed on this forum) ... it clearly portraits a business woman with resolve and endurance. Not afraid to take on anybody. Certainly not a whimp. I am happy to have someone like that fighting for the club. Quite...

    Beware of a

Little ACL vs Gordon Gekko - right? Only, Little ACL are profitable and Ruthless financial genious Gordon Gekko is losing money. Something is not right. Seems like your labels are way off the mark. Try and think of ACL and sisu as divorcing parents fighting for custody of their children ...

    Losses and Management fees

I think PWKH was quoting Ainsworth, which doesn't make it true ... but of course is showing ACL is just as bad as sisu in the spin department. As I said before - managemet fees (to sisu) would under normal practice be paid by the funds they manage, not by the companies owned by the funds.

    Losses and Management fees

TF and ML are ccfc employees. Not sisu hedge fund managers or sisu employees. They are probably paid wages for their work. Just like you are (I presume).

    Losses and Management fees

I get your point, but all available accounts since take over have been scrutinized by OSB and I don't remember him quoting any other fee's than those metioned in the FAQ-2. Usually hedge fund managers are paid a success fee by the the funds they manage directly - they are not paid by the...

With admin happening and us losing 10 points

Oh ... that's a revelation! Now we know that soundly run, soundly managed, 4 managers only in 30 years, own ground will only get us to where we already are.

    Losses and Management fees

Sisu are the owners (or representing the investors), so they are entitled to spend whatever money on whatever purpose. The more they take out, the more they have to put back in. I take it PWKH has seen the ccfc accounts since he is so detailed informed, but I can't understand why he would make...

Will Gary Hoffman Be Our Saviour?

Four pages and nobody even mentioned that Hoffman was vice chairman in sisu's first three years at the club. He has already spend investors money one time and didn't get it right ... why on earth should he succeed given a second chance...

Mark Labovitch calls for arbitration in Ricoh row

I don't believe for one second that the rent strike was initiated with the goal of distressing ACL.

Mark Labovitch calls for arbitration in Ricoh row

Throw up all the pieces of the jigsaw and see if you can assemble a different picture: What if ACL had accepted the clubs wish for a net rent of around £150k p/y back in April? There would have been no arrears - which is now being used to take the club into administration or worse. It seems...

Mark Labovitch calls for arbitration in Ricoh row

I don't agree - They have followed the only path available to them. So have ACL. Every step they have taken have been countered. Every next step has been a consequence of ACL response.

Mark Labovitch calls for arbitration in Ricoh row

There you go. Double or nothing - My next gamble is that ACL declines arbitration. Will be interesting to see how people here would respond if ACL reject binding arbitration.
