    Why is CT quoting Byng?

The key would then be the development of the surrounding land. Wouldn't that to some extend depend on there being a football club drafting in some 300.000 punters per year? I would be sceptical about the viability of the existing businesses like the casino if the club finds a new permanent...

    Why is CT quoting Byng?

Because he won't like the risk of getting one and then be unable to acquire the other. Fx if he buys the club there's a risk CCc won't sell the freehold (which is what Byng would be after). Or if he buys the freehold there's a good chance sisu would set a price tag of £70m on the club.

I am with Les Reid on this. The article is anything but meassured, neutral or professional. Skybluesquirrel who write the blog has lost me some time ago.

CWR - Mark Labovitch this morning.

This kind of posts is a real puzzle to me. What is the purpose? It's a genuine question and I am not having a go at Valiant or Thaiskyblue - there are many others posting short texts with essential the same content. What is the purpose? And as I have never posted like that I also want to know -...

Important Q: what did Joy Seppala want to get from a CET interview?

And this is where there's room for 'interpretation' I guess. They will probably be more prone to do write downs if other projects delivers a profit and vice versa? My point is - it's not really unthinkable that the investors know very little about their investments in ccfc.

Important Q: what did Joy Seppala want to get from a CET interview?

If it was my cash I would probably live in the Caribbean, know nothing about footbal, would never have heard of a place called Coventry. I would only be concerned about the bottom line on the funds report and if it's a bit too early for my first Mai Tai.

Important Q: what did Joy Seppala want to get from a CET interview?

Can I ask how the loans will appear in the funds reports? As the money is not injected as share capital and the loans (at least the original loans) were not carrying interest and had no repayment plan attached, then I would think the loans would stand at full value in the funds report. If so...

So overall the JS statement positive or negative

I was dissapointed, so I guess that's a negative from me. She really needs to sack that PR company she's taking advice from. Joy - send me a mail. I will be happy to draw up a communication plan for free! In the mean time, here's a few advices: Here's my first advice: Tell the whole sad...

    Key Quotes from Reid/Seppala

Even if you're moving forward it doesn't mean you can't fire your rifle over your shoulder - I think she is angry and this is her way of retaliation. But you're right - Les reid should have asked.

We'll Come Back To The Ricoh...

Just to be clear, I am not OSB. Anyone thinking that is doing OSB a great injustice. I deputized for OSB in replying to your post as I have an easy morning. Yes, JS is not exactly correct - or is being mis-quoted. FFP is solely based on Revenue - nothing to do with cost.

We'll Come Back To The Ricoh...

To me sisu happens to own a football club, now they want it to be viable and buying the ricoh or building a stadium is just an inconvenient neccesity.

No - FFP is based on revenue.

Joy Seppala meeting at Ryton Report

Mortgaging is a natural part of financing. ACL is mortgaged, it's not a conspiracy. When sisu sell up a new owner will take over the mortgage as part of the sale.

Joy Seppala meeting at Ryton Report

But how would they sell a football club that doesn't own its stadium - or in other words, who would buy the club without the prospect of buying the shares in ACL?
