    The Freehold at the Ricoh

Maybe a few still can't tell the difference between the freehold and ACL?

We are still CCFC - Coventry City Football Club. Now owned by sisu managed company Otium under the SBS&L umbrella. ACL do not have the money to buy the club.

I totally agree - the club does not need to own the freehold, it needs the income streams. The more the better. But if sisu want to make money from owning the freehold and build a hotel and what more - I really don't see why they can't be allowed to buy that. As long as the lease is cheap and...

Yes - which is why ACL should be sold to ccfc. If sisu want the freehold they can buy that later when everybody are friends again.

More Misery for sisu: Result of poll of over 500 CCFC fans

Yes, let's misread the survey to the extreme. How many who responded are attending the games at sixfields? 25%?

More Misery for sisu: Result of poll of over 500 CCFC fans

Ask why would they be members of the Trust and respond to a survey if they have given up entirely? Have they maybe answered in a way to force an outcome of the survey? Btw - what happened to the 'sky blue till I die'? Did it change to 'sky blue till I die, but not while sisu are owners'?

More Misery for sisu: Result of poll of over 500 CCFC fans

So a response rate of 20%-25%?

    Port Vale chairman on CWR

Right, I get it that you never have and never will understand my point of views - and you will probably never know if I defend or explain their strategy and actions. But you are right about the rest - The club will continue to be laden with debts owed to sisu managed companies. Simply because...

More Misery for sisu: Result of poll of over 500 CCFC fans

Mostly when people make polls they design the questionnaire to get the response they want. Sending the results of the KCiC questionnaire to the press with the comments given by Michael and without disclosing who was asked and what the response rate was is purely spin. We detest when ACL and...

So what happens to the Ricoh if CCFC don't return?

The club can well survive without the income streams from the stadium, but that would mean we stay where we are - in league 1. Maybe with the occasional visit to the championship. I thought most on here want the club to return to PL? Not going to happen without money to spend on players, is it?

    Port Vale chairman on CWR

That's a popular assumption going in circles. But there's absolutely no evidence to support the claim. That would create a situation that has crippled the club for years, and potential buyers of the club would know it's an unsustainable situation. If club and stadium are united under the SBS&L...

So what happens to the Ricoh if CCFC don't return?

Yes and the harvest can be used in a soup kitchen on the car park to support people losing their job in and around the area.

More Misery for sisu: Result of poll of over 500 CCFC fans

I thought there were about 500 responses.

Can you merge the two threads?

More Misery for sisu: Result of poll of over 500 CCFC fans

Well, it's a email poll, so those asked are members of either the Trust or signed up to KCiC. In that case the results aren't really surprising. I don't think the KCiC poll can be used to state other than those who support KCiC want the club to return to the Ricoh. The interesting point is the...

    Change of Tac,

There will probably soon be some wanting to do a blockade of sixfields.

    Change of Tac,

Will the 1500 who currently watch the game from the inside of sixfields stay out? There's no evidence they would.

So what happens to the Ricoh if CCFC don't return?

But ccfc are legally allowed to own a stadium and/or a stadium management company.
