Club’s owners “not prepared to take on the risk” of sharing the Ricoh

Oh, that explain why it isn't part of the 'OSB online Course on Financial Analysis For Beginners' :) Because that type of loans yields a higher interest? But that is paid to the external lender - the council, not to Wasps investors/owners. Question: Why didn't Wasps owner/investor replace...

Club’s owners “not prepared to take on the risk” of sharing the Ricoh

I apologize for attempting to bring back the original post: How many know what a 'sub-investment grade loan' is? I had to look it up. It's a loan given to creditor with a poor credit rating given by one or more agency's like Standard & Poor. It's not really surprising that ACL has a poor...

A lot has been quoted from the Stadium Forum meeting, but this is to me the potentially most important part:

Yeovil Match Thread (The day Pressley gets the bullet?)

The league games he has been involved in have resulted in W6-D5-L2 - that's way better than the overall stats.

Do you honestly believe that you can run a company - or even a football team - on democracy??? I don't think you will find any investors putting in millions and then turn over any kind of control of that money to supporters. Having a few fans reps at board meetings - with no voting power...

As I said we have no evidence until we see the accounts. I know I probably have a lot less active brain cells than you, and the accounts may show you are correct. Until we see the accounts though - it's just opinions.

We will have to wait for next set of account to tell if they spend 60% of the revenue on squad. It's not just transfer fee's, but wages, agents fee's etc. I have no idea what wages is being paid to the current squad, but I imagine it's a bit more than most think. Loan players are not free -...

The only evidence we currently have of money going to sisu (Otium) is interests paid on the £13m loan. Nothing else. And even interests has sometimes been added to the loan instead of being paid out. Would it be better if the loans were to a bank and the money went there instead? What you seem...

Both options presented are a bit extreme. I expect the next statement will be something like: 'An overwhelming 82% of the votes show that the trust members want sisu to sell'. Not mentioning that only 16% of the Trust members actually voted.

dont look here look at them.......

If I understand your underlying wish it is for us all to unite with one agenda? I am all for that and I think everyone will agree. It would excellent if we would all come together and speak with one voice. We would be a force. But which agenda? You would maybe say: Demand the owners give a...

Yes, but I would promote him to football director. He's clearly overburdened with work, so relieving him from the responsibilities of the first team would seem fair. Then bring in a new 1st team manager without having to pay compensation to Pressley.

We should do both - and I think we are ;-)

More false Coventry council claims exposed over Ricoh Wasps deal-Les Reid

Inaccurate??? We all talk about 'sisu', 'the council', 'Higgs' ... when in reality it's down to individuals. This is recognized by some when they bring up 'Fischer' or 'Joy'. To me it seems there are two other individuals who rarely get a mention, but clearly were (is) at the hart of...

More false Coventry council claims exposed over Ricoh Wasps deal-Les Reid

ACL draw down on the escrow and the club paid 10t per game. But it should lead to concern - and I am sure it did.

More false Coventry council claims exposed over Ricoh Wasps deal-Les Reid

Nah, in January 2013 when they bailed out ACL we were still playing there. But after the loan was given they did everything possible to drive the club into administration and possibly out of existence.
