Ex-councillor Brian Patton to stand v Ann Lucas on Get Cov Back to the Ricoh platform

We have just had an impartial judgement, which the judge claimed to be a nil nil draw, but some want to believe that SISU won because they quoted excerpts from emails which mean CCC must be the bad guys and more will come out. Watch this space etc. etc.. So I think the JR may still not be the...

Soccer is the appropriate term in our case as are real estate and majored. We are an asset of a Cayman Isles/ USA company. We are no longer a football club set up to achieve sporting success. That was our past, but the present is different. We are owned by a private equity / hedge fund sponsor...

Sixfields, the area not the football pitch, is both an amenity and an asset. The Ricoh complex is also used for various events, but on a commercial basis and is a commercial asset. If you pay, you can use the Ricoh arena. A soccer academy is using it, or will be.

    Marilyn Knatchbull Hugessen answers questions

I think SISU have looked at the scenario and have come to the conclusion that the best chance of getting at least some money back is with real estate. That is Joy's subject, she majored in it. Unfortunately it doesn't look good for the soccer team which is attracting too much negative publicity...

Of course it benefits Coventry having a multi-purpose stadium/ exhibition centre/ casino etc.. It brings people into the city who spend money and attracts businesses to the area. The people did benefit from Lloyd's buyout as the alternative was much worse. Before the Ricoh there was just empty...

    Marilyn Knatchbull Hugessen answers questions

Theoretically .... Yes. But, that means investing even more capital in addition to any pie money etc., and there is no guarantee of success. That was the original plan ( getting to the premiere ) and now look at us. The trouble is their track record of running a soccer team. They probably won't...

A community asset is an asset belonging to the community. If it brings in business, it is of benefit to the community it belongs to. Please answer my first question.

Ex-councillor Brian Patton to stand v Ann Lucas on Get Cov Back to the Ricoh platform

You talk a lot. Ok. Why is the JR taking so long then? What is your strategy? Getting people together implies that you are talking to all sides. Not heard anything from ML that he wants to talk to CCC about purchasing a stadium. If SISU haven't shown interest in negotiating, what do you expect...

    Marilyn Knatchbull Hugessen answers questions

How do you know that SISU would invest into CCFC? They have a lot of lost money to recover first. The visitors to events at the Ricoh bring business to the city - hardly "fuck all for the community".

Ex-councillor Brian Patton to stand v Ann Lucas on Get Cov Back to the Ricoh platform

Today I am suffering from all three - represented by you and your insulting and stupid posts. I don't know what you are on, but I would give it a miss in the future. Seems to be damaging your pea brain.

Ex-councillor Brian Patton to stand v Ann Lucas on Get Cov Back to the Ricoh platform

I thought we were through with that on another thread. Learning difficulties? Comprehension problems? Or just good old "thick"?

"her family have helped force ccfc away if anything they could go down as the worst ccfc fans of all time?" What are you Neanderthals on? Look, I am sorry if over estimated your IQ, but you do seem to have "learning difficulties". Higgs did not force CCFC to leave. CCFC could have paid...

They thought they would get their money back at an agreed formula secured by their share. Not a return as in a risky investment, but as you said a sort of guaranteed loan.

I admit Higgs helped CCFC - and probably regret it now.

    Marilyn Knatchbull Hugessen answers questions

No they did not know they would get a return. They must have thought that they would at least get their money back though. The motive was not looking for an investment to make money, but to save the Ricoh and regeneration effect on the area that it would have. That is covered loosely in the...

Says the keyboard fan who repeatedly called me a "dumb prick" for acknowledging the work of the Higgs Charity and the financial contribution from the Higgs family to CCFC. You also called me a "shit fan" and a "scab". That is the language of primitive man or Neanderthal man. Short words -...

    Marilyn Knatchbull Hugessen answers questions

As I said, the information was only for your pea brain to attempt to digest. It failed. To clarify: yes I do live abroad. No I am not a foreigner as I come from Whoberley which is in Coventry - as opposed to the Coventry area or elsewhere. Yes I went to Sixfields as it was the only chance to...

    Marilyn Knatchbull Hugessen answers questions

If you think Whoberley is foreign, then I am a foreigner to you. Most people accept that it is Coventry and I was a regular at Highfield Road back to the 60's when I lived in Cov. I still go when I get the chance - even been to Sixfields. So being called a foreigner by some Neanderthal is a...

    Marilyn Knatchbull Hugessen answers questions

Just out of interest, for your pea brain to attempt to digest, I no longer live in Cov, but live abroad. So no, I am not a council employee, nor am I female. But facts don't really count for Neanderthals, so carry on foaming at the mouth and throwing insults.

Placed a half inflated balloon under the wiper actually.... I don't pretend to know your IQ, but I would hazard a guess that it is around the number of your shoe size. The balloon "scandal" by her husband does not detract from the support given to CCFC and to less privileged children by her...
