Reasons not to push for an independent mediator and/or arbitrator

Oh just take a running jump.... There will be no shock and the JR will turn out like the Higgs case.. Lawyers win.

So what do you get for £6.5 million?

One big plus would be reducing the number of parties in the dispute. CCC and SISU would be working together and sharing revenue. It would be easier to deal with any potential CCFC rental agreement if SISUwere getting half of the Rent back as a 50 50 Partner in ACL.

    Sixfield rent

For anyone other than SISU, the benifits of the Higgs share are limited as the catering and naming rights are tied up for years and the potential anchor tenant is controlled by SISU who have their own Agenda.

    Sixfield rent

One player less in this drama for a start. Only two people arguing. Access to all future emails between CCC and ACL ( easier than a "hopeless case" to gain access ). Access to ACL revenues. Share of decision making of ACL. Both sides forced to communicate. Not bad in return for a 5,5 mil...

    Sixfield rent

Higgs also Said they would be legally bound to consider any offer from SISU. I think they would be more than happy "to get out of jail". The extension of stadium naming rights until 2025 blocks any naming income and "corporate image" benefits to a new owner. E.g. If Red Bull had CCFC, they would...

    £20m to buy Acl

Simon Gilbert says they won't disclose the information on another thread..... It is a bit strange as it is probably a lot of money...

    Charity Value of its share

They intend using the monies gained for purposes such as job creation and improving Coventry and not boosting the accounts of Cayman Isles investors. That may count in their favour with the charities commission.

    Fit and proper?

They ( Higgs ) started a court case for 29000 - a lower court would have been used. SISU could have argued their case with Higgs out of court and maybe met half way or if that didn't work, have gone to the lower court with a lawyer. No, they took seven lawyers and counterclaimed for 290000 -...

    Fit and proper?

Peter and the charity have been messed around and tied up in an absurd court case - or "hopeless case" costing both sides large amounts of money. It could have been settled to SISUs advantage in a lower court. SISU chose to behave absurdly, Peter mentioned the absurd behaviour and Grendel jumps...

    £20m to buy Acl

Read it here a couple of weeks ago. If that money is still to come it would be a plus point for the value. If the deal had not been done (Extension of naming rights ), CCFC and the Arena could be branded together by a main sponsor. E.g. Bayer Leverkusen - Bayer Arena, RB Leipzig - Red Bull. More...

    Charity Value of its share

Different kettle of fish. They are taking it on to make a profit, not as an emergency. If they loose that is their fault. Here they Said it was to be Short Term and they were to sell it back at an agreed formular - should have happened long ago and it is not Higgs fault that that didnt happen.

    Charity Value of its share

They put money in and got CCFC out of a hole. They are just asking for their money back and then they can move on. They were prepared to sell at a 1 million loss, so I don't get why people on here are slagging them off. SISU should have sorted this out years ago.

    £20m to buy Acl

A quick question. I read on here that the Ricoh naming rights have been extended from 2015 to 2025. Have they been paid yet? How much and who gets the money if it has not yet been paid? Could it affect the calculation?

    Playing at Sixfields

How do you judge an "impression" by just speaking to players? Maybe by watching them play or reading their quoted comments, but without them actually saying "I am not affected", then you cannot know from your conversations that they are not affected.

sisu are not good for our club - well someone's got to say it!

I think that is the point. Any Prime motivator that doesn't involve rescuing investor's money at any cost is better than what we have. If Joy didn't care about the money ( to a point ), but wanted our adulation, we would be playing at the Ricoh with top signings. I would prefer someone like Red...

    Another stupid idea, maybe.

Higgs have said they want out and were almost there not so long ago. The council are subject to public scrutiny and by nature have to be careful. I hope the JR at least confirms what is allowed and what not. A temporary cease fire whilst playing at the Ricoh for a token rent would help SISU...

    Another stupid idea, maybe.

I thougt you believed that the door was 100% closed on the Ricoh and that the new stadium was a done deal with no disadvantages! What made you change your mind?

    SISU lost the club £4M

    What are current Ricoh terms?

sisu are not good for our club - well someone's got to say it!

In fairness, CCC and Higgs did not buy into a stadium in order to make money for their investors. So they would accept ( according to Higgs ) some loss so long the aims of the charity were fulfilled. They were prepared to sell at 1 million less than they paid. Hedge funds have no legal...
