You have just explained it -the elite were on both sides, as you say. If remain had won, the elite public school boys etc. would have won. The leave are from the same group- Public schoolboys etc. and they won. 'We' - the mugs - lost.

Yes, but did it change the power/ control? No. Either way would stay approximately the same. So, I don't agree that 'we' have our country back. One part of the elite has triumphed over the other. Just look at the characters involved. I was never really into national referenda and am now...

Who campaigned and convinced the electorate? Who landed with the power - or will land with the power? ( and who btw has legged it? ). Whatever happens places like Middlesborough and Sunderland didn't.

No I won't. These demagogues have possibily sent us on an adventure which could include the break up of the UK and send the country into a voluntary depression. I have never said you on here are shit. In fact, I have sympathy with all of you. I'm voting with my feet. We have seen what happens...

No, not yet, but I am applying for German citizenship - as are others over here - but there is a waiting list, so I won't get it before the end of September. The pound is sinking.

which is true.....but you need a PM to set the pace. The Brexit deal will take many years of negotiations and employ many staff - all to an unknown outcome. What that costs and how much it distracts from dealing with other problems that come up cannot be calculated.

“She was a part-time assistant to the chief investment officer, working on special projects.” Not a chief investment manager as she claimed. She was not controling large amounts of money, but had to deal with such things as 'personal'. She or her team are trying to push her as someone who can...

We're not in a crisis ( Germany ).... Schäuble has put forward another 0:0 budget - despite putting aside 19bn € for integration of refugees ( including 6 bn € for dealing with the refugee problem at source ). Record employment levels. Employment set to rise though as more refugees get their...

Fresh face = unknown. Brexit = caused this crisis. Speaks well = Most politicians do ( that's their Job in Parliament). We need an election to decide who is going to lead us out of this crisis. If she is so good, the tories will win and she will have a parliamentary mandate for brexit.

We Import the raw materials or components to make the goods we export- our production costs will go up. If we stop the free movement of labour our wage costs will also go up. If..... it...

Law firm trying to prevent Article 50 without act Parliament using SISU QC

A decision has not been made by parliament. The referendum was not binding. Whether 52% on the day was enough to change the future of the UK possibly for the worse, is certainly up for debate. Farage described this % result as 'unfinished business' . Let's see how quickly the recession starts -...

The difference being that, if the governing party takes us out, or keeps us in and it turns out they have made the wrong decision, we can vote them out for years to come. With the 'street' voting we end up hating each other, but have no political recourse.

Juncker will go by the end of the year - IMI. The mood here is that Juncker is one reason for Brexit. The papers are saying that he breakfasts with Cognac and hint that he is probably pissed a lot of the time. Cameron was vehemently against his appointnent. People here want accountability and he...
