The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I think you better look at internal Tory politics to find the reason. It has little to do with the 'peasants' as you put it.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Maybe Cameron thought that remain would win and nobody would notice the small print, that is was only advisory and parliament is sovereign anyway.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

What is nonsense? Britain is a Parliamentary Democracy- that means parliament is sovereign. The decision just confirmed what we all knew ( or should have known). The referendum was, and could only be, advisory. It's British democracy- get over it.

    Wasps finances 2016

The issues wouldn't be solved by a hundred grand from us. I see our value more as leverage for the naming rights ( we are/ could be very high profile ) and keeping CCC and the Coventry public ( voters ) on board.

    Wasps finances 2016

100000 a year at the moment and a bit of F&B from CCFC doesn't seem to be a game changer. They cannot increase our rent too much, there isn't a great deal to take from CCFC. If we go, they won't notice it in relation to turnover either. One decent concert could cover everything we contribute...

    Wasps finances 2016

Loss doesn't seem to be too worrying. 'A retained loss should be of concern to an investor if a company has been in business for a long period of time, since it indicates that the entity has struggled to find a consistent strategy for earning a profit. However, this is not necessarily the case...

    wasps again

Yes, if it is newsworthy that a guy flies home not to go to a game....., ( the fact that it was his birthday and he wanted to see his mum may also have helped him make his decision)... then there must also be a way of making 'positive CCFC related things' newsworthy. Question being, whose job is...

    wasps again

Whose fault though? The job of whoever does PR is to get good things reported. Even if our owners are not popular someone should be getting the good things across.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

No-one is suggesting that it will get that far. But....we have always had scumbags. They were just below the surface and are now coming out. The Eastern Europeans are probably more racist than we are - when foreigners turn up to live in their countries. They do not have many foreigners. E.g...

    Jon Sharp - BPA

What has Jon Sharp got to do with this? Are we giving him tips on how not finance a stadium, should the Butts ever come to pass? It mentions Jon Sharp and BPA at the top of the thread... Now we are on to attending games at the Ricoh....

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I think most people don't think all English are racists, just that the Brexit rhetoric has emboldened some of the racist scumbags to come out into the open thinking their day has come.

Anti Wasp march / protests. Where are they ?

If true, the embargo comes from SISU. That would mean SISU hold JR2 in the air until they get a good deal from Wasps. Then they drop the JR2, the naming rights can go ahead and everyone can move forward. If true,

Anti Wasp march / protests. Where are they ?

Ok, but does anyone in power at Wasps or CCFC actually bother about people saying we don't like it? I think CCFC got that anyway when they moved to Northampton and most fans didn't.

    Christmas Market in Europe

If you visit Paddy's Bar near the town hall, ask Eamonn, the gaffer ( nice guy ), if he knows a Coventry fan called Martin...... ( actually there are 2 of us called Martin and Coventry fans that he knows ). Give him my regards... His pub is Schauenburgerstr 40 in Hamburg and my pub is...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Yes, all this we've got to pull together doesn't sound very confident to me. That is the sort of thing you say when things get tough = We have to work together to get out of this mess.... If we have made the right decision and are sailing into the sunset, then everything is rosy and we don't...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Yes you would..... The mandate was really the difference between remain and leave. You seem to discount the remain votes in your calculation. As Farage said before the vote - 52 - 48, means work to be done. In other words not convincing enough for such an important decision.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

The biggest gravy trainer being Farage. How do we make it work? By rejecting the 4 points needed to remain in the single market? By blaming everything on the EU? What about putting the post Brexit plan into action? That would show that we know what we are doing.....oh......er.....er.....er...

Anti Wasp march / protests. Where are they ?

Well, you said it. Wasps and CCFC will end up agreeing anyway. I wouldn't get involved in that. That is not our remit. We are customers of SISU ( or their company ) at the end of the day. Wasps are in effect their supplier. They have to deal with it, not us. They don't have an alternative...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Excuses excuses excuses.....brush it under the carpet. Germany wanted Britain to stay, as, apart from their car exports, they saw us as a strong ally in reforming the EU ( e.g. against benefit tourism ). Juncker doesn't run Luxembourg at the moment. Who are the normal people? Britain is talking...
