Well, maybe Britain will, maybe not. Our elite from Eton and the likes of Dulwich College, plus certain newspaper owners will certainly prosper. They obviously don't like the EU as it challenges their status by e.g. guaranteeing equal rights and workers' rights.

No, you shouldn't worry because, if as people here claim, the whole country of 17 million is behind you, parliament will push Brexit through...

The point was 'if'. But, we are bombing ISIS and we bombed Iraq. Maybe the Arabs are not brown enough, but the exact colour is not the point. We can bomb virtually any colour people - as long as they are not EU - and the EU has little or no say. Do you dispute that?

Where have you been? The EU doesn't govern us. We have trade rules from the EU, but if, say, we want to bomb brown people, we do it with the USA and the EU has little or no say. To blame the EU for our shit government is really taking the propaganda war to the extreme.

I told you who I have a low opinion of. Read the kippers Facebook comments if you don't understand why.

The point is the same. Thanks for the correction.

Tell that to your MP because the law is that parliament decides at the end of the day. The British electorate decides who represents them in parliament. So. Let's hope we have an election to decide how we go forward.

Apparently the Mail is on about one of the judges being gay. What has that got to do with anything? Does that give May the right to bypass parliament? The kipper Facebook comments include such things as 'rich bitch' referring to the woman who brought the case forward. These are the people who...

Our fathers, grandfathers, and those that came before fought. That is the point. No way should we go back to completely self governing nation states in Europe. As you quite rightly point out it usually ends in war. Look at the last thousand years of European history. That only ended after...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

The poll shows that a thin majority on any one day can evaporate on the next day. There was no conclusive result. On the day leave won. That's about it. What's all this about the schackles will be off? You could say that the rudder will be gone. Especially if, and I mean if, they can bypass...

No it isn't. 52:48 is not a mandate for changing the future role of the UK.

Yes, the sovereignty of parliament was established by the civil war. Parliament has precedence over a royal prerogative. Why is May trying to overrule parliament? Why not accept the confirmation of our sovereign parliament? It is bad enough trying to claim 52% 48% as a mandate ( latest poll...

You said there should have been a happy medium, but that was never going to happen with Scargill who had turned the NUM into his personal dictatorship. Import coal may have been cheaper, but that wasn't the only reason. We had already been held to ransom by the NUM before under Joe Gormley. I...

Maybe it was 'suspicion' of wife beating. I am pretty sure he got abuse about it - even if his wife denied it. In 1981 it brought him into trouble when he was arrested for drink-driving after being caught with another man's wife in his car. His own wife, Sue, stood by him then as she has done...

He was beating his wife if I remember correctly- that's why he got abuse.

Exactly. There are still some though who claim that people haven't been deceived.
