    £20m to buy Acl

No as a rule the accounts seem the best place for it. But when I originally raised it previously I was suggesting that ACL wasn't as viable as it was made out to be. The extension was around Apr 2012 I think from the reports - was that before the rent dispute started?

    £20m to buy Acl

ACL aren't renowned for sharing information about their finances. They never made a point of telling anyone about the exit fee from IoC. It now just appears in the accounts. When the naming rights were renewed was it around the beginning of the rent dispute or just before? Would a company...

    Fit and proper?

True - but it's the lack of desire on both sides to do the sensible thing.

    Fit and proper?

Peter can't have it both ways. If he (Higgs) wanted to start court action he should have thought about potential consequences. When SISU launched a counter-claim it could have been settled out of court then - or simply withdrawn. Both sides had no desire to stop it going to court. £££ is...

out of contract League One Players

It's all a bit unclear I think. Wouldn't be surprised that if FL tried to challenge SISU this year they would use the JR as an excuse for not making enough progress. That won't wash for much longer once its over.. provided it isn't dragged out forever with appeals etc.

Get Fisher too and release them into a 'Hunger Games' style arena. Winner gets the Ricoh. No dogs or balloons allowed.

    Fit and proper?

I assume this: http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/coventry-charity-values-ricoh-share-7060285 The bottom 3 paragraphs I think.

The FL missed a trick here - they should have said there would be a review at certain points - with the risk of the GS being revoked if no evidence of progress is there.

    Fit and proper?

In the grand scheme of things it just makes him look like a muppet. I was merely surmising that if the incident had occurred the other way it may have attracted more negative attention.

    How much is CCFC worth?

Possibly - or like Dale said maybe a nominal amount but you have all the debt. Don't think they own much - is Ryton mortgaged out?

    Fit and proper?

All joking aside - do you think that if TF tied* an 'ACL/Higgs Out' balloon to PWKH's car it would be treated the same way? (*maybe tied, maybe half deflated under the windscreen wiper - don't want to start more litigation.) I do think that maybe someone that does this should be a bit more...

    How much is CCFC worth?

Using the ACL example - SISU are going to value it at a minimum of £40m given the monies owed to them surely?

    Charity Value of its share

Gary Hoffman back in the mix..... £1's all round! :D

    FFP and revenues

I believe that is correct - and some that are over 21 too - depending on the notion of 'homegrown' - but I don't think that lasts forever.

    Charity Value of its share

Question for Simon if he's reading this. Don't you think it would be a good idea for the CET to get an independent body to value the Ricoh Arena complex? I'm sure your readers would take great interest in the findings and might help us to shed some light further on all this.

There is a clear difference between 'could not' and 'chose not'. You're implying that by having less revenue they were stopped from offering him a contract, which of course is not true.

    FFP and revenues

FFP is not the easiest to define to be honest, but I do think there are some key points that are being overlooked here. This is an important one - and one that is probably most salient given the nature of the dispute between the parties. 2.The distinction between non-football operations...

ACL has "net value of nil"

I was referring to physical assets (as in they don't own the stadium). So what form do these assets take?

ACL has "net value of nil"

So say if SISU had bought the Higgs share in 2012 for £5.5m would they have paid just that and taken on 50% of the mortgage on ACL? I guess what I'm trying to ask is that if I sell my house for 200K it is worth the same amount regardless of whether I have £150k or £10k mortgage. Dependent on...

ACL has "net value of nil"

So does CCC value their 50% share as zero or ACL as a whole (including the Higgs part)?
