Yes you’re right, the ground only had a partial safety certificate, so the capacity was restricted for that game. Would that we could regularly get 20k plus now, eh?

There was a problem at the first Ricoh game. It was a full house and the two sets of fans were goading each other the whole time as a result of the trouble in Ibiza. About halfway through the second half, a hundred or so fans from each side got up and left the stands to settle their differences...

I hate it when they sing that, at Accrington, the locals were so friendly, nice little ground, they played far better than us, their support was excellent, and we have to sing that. Same at Grimsby. It’s not as if Cov is the most aesthetically pleasing place - which doesn’t stop us being proud...

I know what your saying, but we do seem unlucky in the way that we seem to lose key players quite regularly. Aside from this season, in the Mowbray season when we should have achieved promotion, we kept losing our centre halves. You’re right though, we have to get on with it.
