Looking forward to catching up with all the posts tomorrow. But have to say a real take home message; today proved that Wednesday was a blip and the performance today is our actual level. We’ve made so much progress, it’s impressive.

Sheaf showed his worth second half. He was very good. Doubters may argue the game has dropped off by then, but he showed his passing ability, technique and overall what he can be. Maasten was solid both ends, not sure how he still has any doubters.

And just to add to the high of the game, the Mrs is running late so time for a celebratory pint in Dhillons.

Don’t disagree with the idea but depends on which Walker turns up and whether he’s willing to do the running. Doubt his confidence is high and he seems a confidence player.

Godden not offering too much so can see why calls for Walker, but as much as I like him I’m not sure he’ll offer much In this game against their CB’s either.

It was a terrible terrible performance. Nobody can really hold their heads up, some were less bad (Hyam, Waghorn, Gyokeres (ish), Kane) but an all round shocker. It happens and as long as it’s a one off we move on and forget it. The high press troubled us, but if we hadn’t have conceded so...

I agree with the sentiment, but not in this case. Sheaf was the topic of conversation at the point I posted, so in context it wasn’t singling a player out. I was adding the viewpoint of someone who actually rates him, and agreeing he was poor.

Yep, not sure if everything needs to be caveated on here these days - I’m not suggesting other people have played well.

I like Sheaf and think he’s a good player and he’s very unfairly criticised, but he’s having an absolute mare tonight, not sure he’s made one pass. Not solely at fault for the goal though.
