    Swansea (H) - Tuesday 2nd - 19:45

May have to miss this one as my partner isn’t feeling great, so my plan is to hope the kids fall asleep early and she’s so tired/ill/doesn’t care and I can drive up and make kick off, or worse case at least I have iFollow to fall back on. Swansea have improved and are enjoying their football...

    Match Thread Hull City (A) - Sat 30th Oct - 3pm KO

We’ve stepped up a little again and look dangerous when we attack, we just aren’t doing anywhere near enough. Since L2 it’s been the same - we look much much worse when we sit back, yet it seems to be a security blanket for MR. Sheaf very involved after an (unfortunately) trademark poor pass...

Harsh on Walker, but Godden adds more energy and it seems that is what MR is after. Let’s hope Sheaf is on it, as him and Hamer are technically very good.

Mate is on the train from New Street and said it’s full of Derby - as is my train. Plus a fair few Cov fans - atmosphere will be electric today. Only annoyance I can hear them interacting and clearly both sets of fans know next to nothing about the team - including players names. Nice to see...

Really excited for tomorrow. Definitely expecting a performance after the disappointment of Wednesday. JCS back in for Rose - predominantly for the balance. Allen for Kelly - his energy and drive will help us play on the front foot which we need. Hoping Gyokeres is fit - think he’ll do really...

    Reality check

Part of the issue (if you want to call it that) with starting so well is we all get greedy. We are expecting to do well each game, as we’ve become accustomed to winning and on the whole good performances. Which is partly why games like Preson and Luton are especially shit and cause emotive...

    Derby crowd

Is there? To be honest there could be 50,000 but it’s the ball ache of queuing, especially as I’m Phase One Elite - don’t want mix with the glory supporting day trippers.

    Derby crowd

Bringing two mates tomorrow, one of whom is a Man U fan who has been to more Cov games than Man U in the last five years by some distance. The people I usually go with can’t go, so I have their usual ST seats by me for then to physically sit in, but can’t the ST themselves (bar one). I assumed...

    Best midfield pairing

Kelly wasn’t great last night and his weakness on the ball is highlighted at this level. He needs to be reserved for games where we’re expecting to soak a lot of pressure i.e. against the best teams in the league, as his positioning and anticipation are his strengths. All other games, be it...

I blame it on inexperience and being desperate to get on the ball and make something happen. Like a school kid who knows he’s the best and just runs around trying to get the ball and do it all themself. He was clearly frustrated after the second goal as. he booted the ball into the net in...

We were two completely different teams first and second half. First we looked comfortable and a threat each time we attacked, second we could barely string a pass together and offered nothing offensively. Taking Gyokeres and COH off when in need of a goal is a nightmare situation. It may have...

    Gyokeres and O’Hare?!! Unless that’s injury/fitness related - what?!!

Comedy of errors; stupid foul from Dabo, then Dabo and Hamer asleep, Hyam easily turned and Moore could have done better. Joke. Still hopeful though - we made it so easy first half, we need to step up and quick.

Hopefully it wakes us up and we step up now, as even first half we were coasting. Wouldn’t change anything yet. Maybe Sheaf at some point to get on the ball or even Allen for his energy in the middle.

This is their 10 minutes, weather it and we’ll dominate again. Step out of first gear and I think we’ll see a few more goals.

Great finish, very accomplished. His all round game has been good today too, lots of dropping deep to get the ball an lay it off, plus his usual movement. We absolutely deserve the lead. As I said 20 minutes ago, we’re dominating and not even playing our best yet. Preston will have their 10...

We’re looking pretty comfortable, and don’t even think we’re really out of first gear yet. Seems to be a lot of space and the clipped balls over the top are causing issues too. Even if we don’t capitalise, we definitely have the ability to step it up. COH the main man so far.

How is that not a booking? Cynical as they come! Gyokeres is desperate to shoot everytime - full of confidence.

No way to change it then? That’s on normal iFollow but can’t see that option on the Firestick unfortunately.

Watching iFollow on a Firestick at a friends but it’s the home commentary. Anyone know how to change to the away commentary on this?
