Fankaty Dabo stats v Rotherham... The engine of the team

Great job by the recruitment team on this one! Remembering a few people doubting him because he’d played in the Dutch leagues and that Sterling was a better option. Playing him wing back was a blinder by Robins!

    Ryan Giles

He defended very well, how can people judge Giles based on one dribble? Unbelievably short-sighted. There was a case for Southend or Bolton to start him, not for Sunderland.

    Ryan Giles

McCallum defended well last night, and Robins still thinks he’s playing well. Giles’ run and cross in his cameo showed he has something to offer. However, he is not ready to start against Sunderland, one of the best in the division. He’ll get chances in the remaining 12 games.

    Ratings v Rotherham

Second half was a great half for us, it’s a shame we couldn’t knick the win! The midfield, led by Walsh, pressed well and put them under a lot of pressure. The defence limited Rotherham to scraps and Gooden took his goal really well and unlucky not to get another. Perhaps it would’ve been...

    Stats again. (If you interested)

Probably gives us reason to be more direct than usual v Rotherham.

    What are Rotherham thinking

5 games home over January and December. Won 3, free twice. Facing Ipswich and Portsmouth around us. We’ve started to hit a real stride after the Shrewsbury game.

    What are Rotherham thinking

See for yourself, we’re two points off second in the home table. 8 pts off top with 3 games in hand. Only 3 ‘home’ games in 2020, won two, drew once in Jan. Lost only once at ‘home’ all season.

    Ipswich Tickets

I’m hoping to go to this one with my little brother! No rugby in March until the 21st for me. Anyone know how much coach tickets are? Looking to get it in nice and early!

    Jodi

What really would be rash and an ‘unfathomable business decision’ by the club would be invest in a players 2 year rehabilitation, only to release him months later. A one year extension is the best of both worlds.

Where will we finish, the run in poll

Too early, they’ve got 3 wins on the bounce against teams who are out of form - similar to us, but we got a huge win v Pompey. Who beat Sunderland 2-0. Right now, we’re the form team with 26 points from 30 available

    Super Max

It’s not all about strikers, if it was P’boro would be top of the league. As it happens, we’re above them, and they’ve lost 7 more games than us. For all their goal scoring ability, they seemingly can’t win if they concede the first goal, whereas we are the ‘comeback kings’ of this division. We...

Where will we finish, the run in poll

We’ve already halted one Pompey surge...

    Walsh, O Hare, Dabo

Dabo is our player so think we’d retain him if we got promoted. Walsh, Bristol like him and have a 1 year option in their favour (I believe), so will probably stay with them. O’Hare is an interesting one. Dependent on if Villa getting relegated or not. Stay up, Grealish stays and they’ll have...

Where will we finish, the run in poll

That’s the perception, and was the case in the 1st half of the season but we’ve started to catch up. We’re on 43 goals and only P’boro, Rotherham and Pompey have more goals than us in the top 6. You have a handful of teams from 7th-11th who have got 45-47 goals - teams we have 1-2 games in hand...

Where will we finish, the run in poll

7pts from the next 3 games and I’ll truly believe we’ll win the league.

Where will we finish, the run in poll

Hopefully, at least 2nd! Our improved away form has really kicked us on! Hopefully we can avoid losses in our tough home games.

Not really sure how that’s relevant right now? It’s 2 years ago. I expressed my doubts whether Biamou could cut it in this league last season. He’s come back this season from a bad injury and he’s done well. Played 15 games, mostly off the bench and scored 4 goals. Clearly not seen as a 1st...

Next game, Biamou is would be a good value for a start. Probably alongside Gooden with O’Hare behind those two. Otherwise, I’d start Shipley and O’Hare behind the striker if we stick with the 3-4-2-1.
